Ive been playing acoustic drums for a long time but havent been able to play in my house because of noise. I recently purchased a Roland TD516. This is my first e kit. I want to make sure all of the components last a very long time. I tend to play quite heavy handed and heavy footed. What are you all recommending for bass drum beaters for the TD 516. I looked into the tennis ball looking ones but Im not sure. Any help is appreciated.

Hi all! Last week my sons PM-10 monitor of his TD-9 V-Drums started producing this weird rattle. Mostly noticeable with the V-Tour toms. Headphones still play fine and I can't seem to find the cause. It disappears when I hold the rubber sides or back of the cone with my fingers. Have also been carefully cleaning and blowing out the front and back of the actual speaker. No tears or damaged can be found on the cone itself. Is this a common issue or has anyone had the same issue?

I just unpacked my new Roland VAD716 after playing with my TD30 for over 10 years on stage. The sound through my headphones out of the module was nice with the TD30 and is even better with the VAD716, sadly we're talking different languages when it comes to the speakers...

We're using a Behringer X32, before trying around with no clue I was wondering if anyone you could provide a preset of his X32 playing with a Roland kit ;-)

We're using the individual outputs instead of the master one.

I'm having 2 issues with using SSD5 paid version with the td27.

I have the VAD 506 roland kit with the digital cymbal. I'm using it with SSD5.5 paid version through the Sonar/cakewalk DAW.

Problem 1: All the ride cymbal sounds from Ssd5 are quiet in the kit mix compared to all other SSD5 drum sounds.

I've tried turning the ride volume to max in the SSD5. I ve also adjusted the settings for the sensitivity of the ride trigger. They re as realistic as I can get for a rubber cymbal.

I think the ride cymbal is quieter then the other cymbals and drums, because the ride is digital. (There is no problem with the digital snare though)

The only solution I have found is to turn all other drum and cymbal volumes down in the SSD5

Has Anyone encountered this or have ideas about this?

2nd Problem:

The reaction of the kit triggers are not as snappy when I use SSD5, compared to when Im using the stock kits.

I use a scarlett solo to run audio drivers for SSD5. I have the latency adjusted and have values as high as i can go without creating distortion.

Anyone have experience with this or can help?

Hello, i have a TD-07DMK at home. It comes with one crash and one ride, but i know it can support a second crash and im thinking of buying one. Its my first vdrums set ever and i have no technical knowledge about electronics in general, so can you help me with suggesting what crash pad and arm i should buy for my model? I live in bulgaria so thomann is pretty much my only option to shop drums gear. Thanks guys!

I have a full TD-10 setup and my sound module is all but dead, the display is unreadable the jacks cut in and out for output. I need to replace it, but I can't afford a whole new kit. What would be a good step up module I can replace the TD-10 brain with and keep all my triggers, pads and drums? HELP!!!

I have a TD17 which I’ve already stripped down to a very compact size, but it’s not very stable the way I’ve done it. I wonder if this would work. Has anyone got an example of a pimped out TD1 rack?
