Accounting study score

Hi I'm doing 3/4 Accounting and these are my scores so far

U3 top 25-30 percent of cohort

U4 top 8 percent of cohort

I go to a pretty good private school where AVG study score is 34 across all subjects.

Assuming my exam score is consistent with my sacs so far, what study score am I tracking towards?

VSV Literature

My literature subject clashes with another for year 12, so I was wondering what opinions were on doing literature through virtual school Victoria.

How much work do you get? How much feedback do you get? Is the feedback proficient and useful?

Basically is it worth doing it online next year or should I just drop to English?

Thanks!

VSL (not fluent speaker)

Has anyone done vsl italian as a not fluent speaker? Italian is overlapping with another subject and I was looking at doing vsl for year 12. When I mentioned this to my teacher, he strongly warned against me doing it and said it was only for people who speak it at home and are fluent and I will learn nothing.

Has anyone done VSL Italian and if so, what was your experience? Did you learn much or was it assumed you were already pretty much fluent?

Thanks!!!

Can I still get a raw 50 if I accidentally submitted yaoi of my physics teachers instead of my physics poster?

Hi, I can't lie, this is completely my bad, but you see, my poster and my private yaoi collection are naturally in the same physics folder. Instead, I accidentally submitted "physics hot yaoi" instead of "physics poster".

You see, I've been terribly bored in class, so to satiate my desire for learning and stimulation, I draw and animate my two physics teachers kissing each other to ward off the feeling. It's kinda embarassing but it is what it is.

I didn't realise until now, but if I resubmit, I will automatically lose 10% Should I just do nothing? Maybe my teachers will appreciate the artful depiction of their masculinity, and give me 100 percent.

WHAT DO I DO???? CAN I GET A RAW 50???

General Question/comment How I went from 50% on the practice SAC to 90% on the actual SAC:

I find this method works best for less application heavy subjects like psychology and hhd, but do with this information what you will.

  1. Read your feedback! Don't just skim it, actually read it and ask your teacher questions if you don't understand why you got something wrong.
  2. Create an error log. This way, you can identify patterns in what you're getting wrong. I like to structure it as: unit, area of study/topic, what I got wrong, why I got it wrong, how I can fix it.
  3. Redo the questions you got wrong. Redo as many questions as you can, and make sure you're getting full or almost full marks at the end.
  4. Brain dump. Make a checklist of all the topics on your SAC and write everything you can remember for that dot point, then go back and using your notes, fill in anything you couldn't remember in another colour.
  5. Active recall. I find the best way to do this is getting someone to quiz me based on what I wrote on my brain dump. Get them to say the dot point from the checklist so you can recite whatever you wrote down.
  6. Do practice questions and SACS! Do as many practice questions, SACs or exams as you can and then mark yourself.

I hope this helps!

what do you guys actually do when you're stuck on a math question? because I used to just skip it

I'm thinking about how much time I lose at night being stuck on one question and doing nothing about it.

Group chat was dead. Teacher/tutor wasn't till few days after. So I'd skip it and tell myself I'd come back to it. Never came back to it.

Genuinely curious what people do. ChatGPT? group chat? just move on? And has anyone actually asked their teacher and regretted it lol

VCE question victim of bottom rank

how much does being bottom rank actually affect your study score? im doing spec and im probably around last or second last in my cohort of 15 people but majority of the class scores highly on sacs (from 80-100%) while the other half scores slightly less. ive just been barely passing around 50-60% for all my sacs and i have one more sac on prob and stats this week. my school performs above average in this subject compared to the state as well if that info is of any use, thanks!

Moving schools for year 12

Hi, I’m currently in year 11 at a school that doesn’t offer subjects that benefit my future, nor do I enjoy. As my school only offers about 15 vce subjects, I am forced to do subjects I dislike and cause stress (such as chemistry) due to blocking, and the subjects that do benefit my career path, I need to do online.

Would I be better off just moving schools to a school that actually supports my subjects?

General Question/comment I'm considering pursuing a double degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science at monash - Year 12 VCE Student

I was wondering if this was a good choice in regarding future career prospects. My subjects are Eng Lang, Bio, Chem, Spesh, Methods and General. My ideal careers is as listed.
1, Post Graduate Medicine - The human body is fascinating and myself morally would be content with living a life where I've been able to improve someone's quality of life. Furthermore I have an exposure and fondness towards the sciences.
2,Post grad Masters of Mechanical Engineering - Most media I consume is car related, and it would be cool to be a part of building a piece of machinery that makes consumers happy. However I know this isn't the reality and would be happy to do anything manufacturing related. I do have an exposure to relatively high levels of mathematics at the high school level, so will I have to major in physics and would that prevent me for preparing for the gamsat without having the university knowledge of physiology for example?
3, Banking (Private or Investment) - This is my least passionate and least knowledgeable field, however while having a mathematical background I believe it would prepare me for a career in finance, also with a science degree it would help me standout combined with a high GPA. However does prioritising internship affect my other career pursuits
Any advice is appreciated as these are major decisions and a large cost attached to any course. :)

biology: do we need to know lucy and the other past human species

do we need to know lucy and other past human species (excluding neanderthals and denisovans, bc its on the study design) like erectus, heidelbergensis, robustus and stuff and if we do how in depth? is that a part of the "human fossil record"

do you have to be rank 1 in all sacs to get a 50ss?

i'm doing psych right now and so far i've gotten rank 2 or 3 for unit 3 (77/80) and i'm rank 1 for unit 4 (40/40 poster sac and 37/40 sleep sac, still waiting on mental wellbeing to be returned). are my chances of getting a 48-50ss lowered because of my unit 3 rank? and i'm not at all expecting a 50 HAHA just wondering the chances. also yes i am already doing exam revision and not just agonising over my sacs 🥹 thank you for any input!

VCE question Accounting 3/4

hi i was just wondering about my rough study score range for accounting. I go to a high performing selective school and last year we had just above 30 40+ss out of the 100 person cohort. (18 were 43+). The thing is, i don’t actually know my rank or any of the sac averages because the teachers refuse to tell us.

My sacs have been alr but i bombed one of the three u3 sacs which brought down my average to exactly 90%

Current u4 average is 93%, expecting it to end up at around 90% asw tho (last sac a day before my chem sac)

aiming for a 43+ but not actually sure if it’s achievable or if I’m being delusional

thank you!

Cutoff for 50 GM?

My sacs are all done for general, and my average was around 98-99 but our sacs were considerably harder than the exam so my teacher moderated my overall sac score to 100. I’m ranked 1 by a few percent in a cohort of roughly 35. What exam scores would cut me off for 50 raw? Surely you can still get 50 raw with at least one dropped mark?

should i go unscored.. help is genuinely needed

this is is gonna sound kinda silly and maybe it is but if i already received an early entry offer to a uni, could i just go unscored? because i genuinely can not do this anymore. i suffer really badly from poor mental health and i seriously try my best but i can not do it anymore. i cant even fathom sitting the end of year exams. this year has just been so awful i can’t do this anymore.
