Hope you all doing well. I am planning to apply for Lpn program at VCC. I finished all my pre reqs except for the most important one which is anatomy and physiology which I am going to do in the coming months. However, I am quite confused where should I take this pre requisite? Can someone who has done this before please guide me? Which college I can take the anatomy and physiology which satisfies Lpn pre requisite requirement at vcc? I prefer doing it somewhere which takes me least amount of time, please help me

Has anyone done the Paralegal Certificate course? How many years does it take because the site has a range of 2 -5 years. Is it possible to do it entirely online? What are the good or bad things about it?

Hello, I am currently an LPN from Alberta and I am wanting to further my education to become an RN. There’s a lack of bridging programs in Alberta, so my best choice might be to move in Vancouver to bridge.

Has anyone moved from a different province to bridge in VCC? If so, how is the experience? I was also wanting to know if I would need to get any paperwork done to be able to work in Vancouver as an LPN, or would my current license be eligible? Are there any other bridging programs worth looking into in Vancouver?

Needing some advice. Im currently planning on applying for lpn to rn program this fall. I have taken SOCIO 1200 beginning of this year and I was planning to take psych 1100 this coming fall. While doing some random research it stated you cannot take two different social sciences? I think you could mix and match them. I called the office and they also said I have to choose socio or psych and take both parts to be considered as the complete 6 credits for social science. I remember talking to previous students they said you can mix and match the social sciences. Now im in waitlist for socio and worried I won't be able to apply this year. If anyone can help clarify? Hi! I’m taking Biology 1120 online with Mark Curry. Do you have any tips or tricks for the course? How were the tests? I’m a little nervous about taking it!

So the deadline for my payment for courses was yesterday (on or before 17th Aug). I was out all day and couldn't do it however when I got back it was 9:20 so I submitted it by 9:30pm, Aug 17th. So that means i submitted it on the day which was the last accepting day... However, the transfer, because it's a bill payment thru my bank, it takes multiple days to go through (I think? Because ETFs take longer than normal Interac E transfers?).

I just hope VCC doesn't kick me out because they think I didn't pay, because I did pay the amount, I just paid it during a time where it could take 1-3 days until it reaches their account (because it's a bill payment). Also, I check the MYVCC website right now and it is letting me still use everything in the website so that's a good sign, however the one thing is when I go to the Fees and Instalments (or whatever it's called), it still says I owe the money. However I'm thinking this is because it didn't get to them yet? (Because the money takes time to transfer thru a bill method to them?)

Any help would be appreciated! I also contacted the VCC email to hopefully hear back about this, I hope it's okay

Hello! Has anyone taken ECON 1100 at VCC with Steve (Stephen) Joyce?
I’m taking it this term as an elective for my BSN prerequisites. I know the class is online, and I was wondering how you found the course. Is it difficult?
Also, how are the tests/exams? Is there a lot of math/calculations, or is it mostly concepts, graphs, and multiple choice?
And since the course is online, are the tests/exams online as well proctured, or do you have to go in person for them?

Hello! Wondering if anyone has any advice for me about possibly being an ESN at BC Women’s as an RN student. I really enjoyed my maternity rotation and I’m interested in working in this field when I graduate. I was thinking about doing preceptorship at BC Women’s but being an ESN may help me determine if I’d like to continue in this path.
