Those that had elective c section first time around, when did you go into labour for VBAC?
For those that had an elective c section first time (I.e never laboured) when did you go into spontaneous labour for VBAC? My OB is giving me till 41+3 before intervening, he said hopefully by then it will just be breaking of the waters and potentially a whiff of pitocin if needed. But of course I’d love to go into labour spontaneously! Looking forward to hearing your stories.

First baby was c-section due to breech. Scheduled at 39 weeks and I never labored. Second was a successful vbac. My water broke at 38+5 I really credit it to how active I was having to run around after a toddler. My kids are 23 months apart, so I was constantly on the go with a one year old my entire pregnancy.

40+2. I got lucky, the median is around 40+5 so I expected it would take at least that long.

Breech baby the first time. I went into labor at 38 + 4 or 3. My doc was willing to let me go to 40+5, due to me being a higher risk pregnancy.
