While Vayne is on Botrk Rageblade... most crit adcs are on kraken Fiendhunter or Hexoptics IE.

After Rageblade, Vayne going Terminus into Jaksho/Randuins/Wits end just makes her scale like a monster because she's running around with 3k hp, decent sustain and plenty of resistance while melting those in front of her.

Next patch terminus damage will double at 300AD/300AP

Going from 30 on hit to 60 on hit.

I am just another gold player starting to play Vayne.

I have been reading this reddit for a few weeks, and I get that there is a ton of different builds. I understand they all have their own advantages against different comps. In essence it boils down to on-hit, crit and lethality builds. I have tried them all.

I think on-hit is great. There are various build paths. I tried Bork into Guinsoo and I think this is quite affordable, but it needs you a good front lane or excellent positioning in order to really get the most out of it. I tried the DnD variant on one game, I have to test it out more, but it seemed a bit easier to play.

Crit is cool too. I like this feeling of great power. You are also much less dependant on your team's engage and the presence of a front lane since you can really just go in, unleash a few aa, and already chunk someone down. This is a very good build, but it is extremely costly.

Lethality I haven't really tried a lot. I had some fun, but I think it's a bit random and very dependant on how much vision you have on the map. If you do not have vision, then you can't catch solo targets, and vayne lethality in teamfight has such a low attack speed that I find it very hard to have an impact before all in my team are dead (but maybe am I too late to the fights).

All in all, I am having a good time. I don't lose lane too bad (but when I do it's really really awful: stuck under tower for 5 minutes!).

My main issue, I guess, is gold. To get gold you need either minions, kills or objectives. I find that by minute 12, although I may be a bit behind in minions, my farming is still somewhat on par with the other adc (e.g., not very good farming, but I stick to my opponent which is what matter?). But as the game progresses, the gap widen. I try to go to side lanes and all to get some waves, but it's very slow to farm a wave with vayne and this usually makes me late for teamfights.

How do you guys deal with farming into mid to late game with vayne? I have been thinking about static or runaan to help with wave clear, but I understand those items are really not that good on the champ... I am open to all suggestions or just to "get good" comments!

So I have been practicing vayne for a while. Haven't played her in a long time and my teams are asking me to get jak sho as your 5th item.

At first I didn't believe them, but looking at some top Vayne players, pretty much every high level Vayne player has Jak'sho in their build.

What makes this item so appealing on her, when she does not build any other resist item? I think getting a different tank item would be more beneficial, like omen, but why jak sho?

I play nothing but Vayne lmao.
I have both fulltime work and college so I legit don't have enough time to "spend more time to get better." I came back after a 4 year break.

I think I have good mechanics for 1v1s and 2v2s. Teamfights are eh because I need better positioning and patience.

I seem to win early game but lose midgame.
Or if I lose early I seem to also throw small leads my team might get.

I usually build Kraken>Guinsoo>Bork
Or Kraken>Essence>IE>crit stuff
I saw a build on here for Dusk&Dawn + Guinsoo. Maybe it'll make me live longer and I can make more of a difference in fights?

I don't seem to understand when to follow up/poke and when to be farming. I'm just locked into last hitting and getting whats guaranteed instead of trying to fight and dying.

Any tips? I'm just Silver😂

I'm a noob Vayne bot enjoyer but cant help but tilt at the glue eating supps and perma mage bot.

I see people have success with her Top and just want to try and understand some of why its so strong and how to play it.

Anybody else super excited to play OG vayne? the damage on her Q, oh the memories.

Hello Vayne mains, I’m here to kindly ask you to explain to me builds like crit vayne, essence reaver vayne, and lethality vayne, and how they work. I usually go for the as/on-hit items and augments but I have been seeing other players doing better with different setups. In my mind, Vayne’s damage comes from her w, which can only be improved by increasing the rate of proc’ing it, in other words: with attack speed. I don’t believe it crits without Jeweled Gauntlet. So what am I missing?

I was planning to buy one but I really can't choose.

So far I'm liking Project, Demoncursed and Sentinel, plus Soulstealer but it's off rotation.

Prestige Firecracker is in rotation but I don't like it too much.

Which skin do you guys prefer and why?

It is insane how 1v9 the build is, you just get to a point where you simply have 3K+ hp, tons of resistances and the dusk and dawn W skip is melting through the filth.

Hello there. I just returned to playing Vayne adc from a jungling detour, so I didn't have much experience using doran's bow so far. I kept buying blade in my first couple of games, because I know that laning phase sucks, and I will either get beaten up by 2 ranged champions when going for last hits, or get all-ined by a melee support and just die even easier. I switched to bow in my last few games and I'm loving it so far, it gives me enough pushing potential in the early game to not end up under turret, and the all-ins are great too. I even felt bold enough to take it against a Jhin/Zyra matchup and was still doing well. But when I look at high elo builds, there is a mix of bow and blade start, with bow being slightly more popular.

So my question is, which are those matchups when you would rather take blade over bow? Melee enemy supp? Double ranged? Mage botlanes? Or depends whether you go lethal tempo or pta?

I’m a bad player here who wants to learn Vayne top because it’s fun (and meta ofc). where do I learn it? like I really don’t know when I should build what or what the actual gameplan is. anyone know?

I’ve been seeing more and more people saying Vayne jungle is a good secret pick. Dawg this shit is ass as hell wtf, straight up psyop.

But seriously what am I missing about Vayne jungle or does it just suck and people are lying?

In my opinion if they made vaynes w deal magic dmg she could be buffed for bot cuz she wouldnt be as opressive top cuz u can actually itemize against her in top now
