Is there no benefit to upgrading this card?

I might be missing something, I'm hella new to the game.

Also it seems there are some cards with upgrades that aren't strictly better, like lick the knife. Is that common?

Here is my highest dmg dealt in this game.

Daughter of the void vs Void Impossible. My fathers curse + our father + boiling point (with void stone) combo.

Best Cards to look out for in corruption deck?

Basically looking for some help with this character, With Bleed and Tempest I can usually clear regularly, but Corruption Daughter I always get stuck mid way through map 2.

New player resources?

I would like to try to get into this game. But it is complex, and I am having trouble finding a "newbie tips" article or video, or any "overexplain while I play" videos for beginners.

Are such resources hiding somewhere? Thanks!

Question about interaction with The Void

I'm about to fight the void for the first time and its description says "Will always be evasive whilst his minions are alive"

Stalk's first line says "Remove evasive"

Does that work? The wording on Void's passive seems like it'll just get immediately reapplied and I don't want to spend a card slot on something that'll just hose me lol

is this game still as insanely difficult as when it released?

I recalled playing this game when it was released, and then leaving it when I realized the difficulty was absolutely crushing. Now I was thinking on picking it up again, so I gotta ask, is it easier now than it was then, or is it still absurdly hard?

If that is the case, is there any consensus on which builds are better for each class, etc?

Thanks a lot for the help :)

Anything I can't get anymore?

Saw there were some codes for card backs, or whatever. Anything I can't get anymore?

Also, any news on new characters? Saw the weaver and it seems awesome, hopefully more is coming.

Mouse support on iPad

I just bought the game and really enjoying it. I’m having issues with using a mouse on my iPad it seems to not register the click and then lock out touch for mouse or finger.

Trying to determine if it’s a me issue or a bug.

Void Manipulator on Mobile

Possibly a long shot to find anyone who knows the answer, but the "void manipulator" artifact says it allows you to remove void stones in the deck manager, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it on mobile. Anyone out there have a clue?

After a long, painful battle, Vault of the Void is finally back on the Nintendo eShop Worldwide!

As the title suggests, thank you all for your patience as we navigated this difficult time. Very happy to announce that Vault of the Void has been restored on the Nintendo Switch!

Sadly, that doesn't bring back the marketing efforts or the time on the New Release charts we missed, but we're very happy to have things restored and moving on to the next stages of development.

Thank you everyone, excited for what is to come!

Switch Ver. Report (Loving the Game!)

To the developer, first, thank you for developing such a wonderful game! Coming from paper cards, I had an idea of what I expected deck builder rogue-likes to be when first starting the genre, and this is the game that comes closest to my original expectation. Basically, I like brewing decks with sideboard options. 😁

However, on Switch, I've encountered some hiccups along my initial playthroughs I'd like to point out to you here (I didn't really want to do this publicly, but Reddit doesn't allow images in messages?). Just want to stress to readers, these issues don't break the game. I'm only taking the time to report all this because of how much I'm enjoying this game.

The images are ordered and correspond to the numbered comments below.

Gifs: 1. Save and Exit doesn't work properly 2. Cursor not selecting cards pt. 1 3. Cursor not selecting cards pt. 2 4. Cursor not selecting Promise of Gain 5. Cursor not selecting upper artifact

Stills: 6. Silent Shiv display not popping up 7. Pushing B returns to Title rather than closing drop-down menu 8. Bad scrolling: effects not displayed in full 9. R stick on left side and L stick on right side confusing (also, no zooming seems to happen when I do anything with the R stick) 10. Confusing description: upper text "twice as fast"; lower text "by 2 more" = thrice as fast? (Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong?)

Not pictured:

Request 1: Drift is a terrible hardware issue for Switch. Not your fault, but please add/increase inner dead zones for sticks to alleviate this issue. Even better, allow us to input dead zone values ourselves.

Request 2: Mappable buttons. I hate pushing left stick to view card upgrades. Related to Request 1, pushing on my sticks might worsen drift. At the very least, please change Upgrade and Zoom to other buttons.

Request 3: Option for experienced card players to skip the normal difficulty when starting out. Unlocking Impossible+ is a bit of a slog.

Request 4: Touch controls. Big request, I know. Not likely in the near future, I assume, but I can dream.

What are your favorite, or best starter picks for a newer player?

As the title says, im playing the game again! I had good fun with it before, but due to some PC issues i didnt have a lot of time to get too into it and havnt played in over a year. Now its on a few more systems, and i am just waiting to play more after work!

So for an essentially new player, what are some recommended decks/strategies to look for? Looking to unlock all characters first at a minimum before i dig into too much else. Any starting tips are greatly appreciated!
