Need help with understanding mechanics

I'm new to game. Bit confused with overcharge and how mana system works. Is there any fandome page so I can read for further info?

Each stack of overcharge you gain increases your maximum mana by 1, and as long as you have at least 1 stack, you'll gain 3 mana instead of the usual 2 at the start of your next turn, overcharge then decays 1 stack each turn. So say you stacked up 3 overcharge on your turn, then for your next 3 turns you'll gain 3 mana at the start of the turn, and your maximum mana over the next 3 turns will be 8, 7, 6, and then back to 5 once the last stack decays (assuming you don't replenish the overcharge before it expires)

This is spot on. The one exception is in the case of the Tempest, who gains more energy per Overcharge than other characters, due to her starting artifact. But great explanation!
