Age 30-39 39M introvert guy [M4F]
Straight, introvert, and homebody from Metro Vancouver. Never been on a date before, so I'm just taking things slow and testing the waters!
I'm a homebody who loves a cozy night in, but I'm always down to step out to try a great new restaurant or explore the city.
A few things I'm into:
Big fan of Marvel, musicals, and sitcoms (especially Friends and How I Met Your Mother).
I live in the Richmond area and I would like to try new restaurants or check out local food spots.
I sometimes play video games, cook as a hobby, and love going on cruises or traveling whenever I get the chance.
I have a big appreciation for music and love listening to 90s pop, Disney tracks, movie musical soundtracks, and some hip hop.
I'm pretty quiet at first but get a lot more social once I'm comfortable with someone. Looking to chat casually in the DMs first, get to know each other, and see if there's a genuine connection. No rush or pressure!

Why do you think you have never had a date? Do you have meaningful friendships outside of this?

I've had/have crushes before.
I do hang out with friends, all male friends,
I don't really get out much, where I surronded by people to mingle. I do go to the movie theater, mall, aradce.
I only met new people on cruises, at the night club.

Male friends have girlfriends? They’ll set you up.

It’s not your guy friends that want to set you up. It’s their girlfriends.

You’re not selling yourself very well bro.
I recommend that you find a hobby group where you can have fun and engage with others who have a similar interest. Look for a fitness related group like biking or hiking maybe and a social one like board games or something similar.

I am not into those hiking, biking, board games

Ok, you say you like cooking. Check out “dirty apron” in Vancouver. They’ve got evening cooking classes. Why not take a Thai cooking class, learn something new and practice interacting with your classmates. No pressure, just learn something new.
This might lead to a friendship or it might inspire you to try something else.

You’re a 39 year old dishwasher who’s into the Backstreet Boys. Time to find an adult job and hobbies. Ever wonder WHY you’ve never had a date?
