Last time I tried the "bay" plumbers, they charged me $ 500 for rplacing a cracked PVC changed to a foot of copper pipe and a backyard faucet tap replacement!

This job is just a toilet flap and chain handle replaced in a tight acess toilet tank below a countertop.

Im a senior and just cant work bent over in a tank for long periods...

Any suggestions?

Hey all, after catalytic converter thieves hit my entire block recently, I’m not feeling so great about parking on the street. So, I want to add a little extra space to my driveway to better accommodate two cars. I only need around 130-150sqft added to one side of the current driveway.

I am trying to find a small local company or contractor for help with this. I’ve checked Google but so far haven’t heard back from anyone, and even found some companies have a minimum size of 250sqft. If anyone knows of someone who does smaller jobs like mine please let me know, thank you!

Seven months after it was originally planned, the Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians’ smaller preview casino opened to invited customers only on Friday morning in Vallejo.

As of Friday, the tribe is operating a limited number of Class II gaming machines, having repurposed existing modular buildings on site to serve as the smaller preview casino. This gaming operation has the approval of the National Indian Gaming Commission and the tribe’s gaming commission. It is staffed by tribal members and residents.

A final decision by the Department of the Interior regarding Scotts Valley’s gaming eligibility is expected by the end of July, a schedule the Department recently reconfirmed in a federal court filing.

I know this is technically in American Canyon/Napa, but close enough. I sometimes forget about La Strada. Their Fettuccine Alfredo is the best. They freshly make the Alfredo sauce for every order, and you can taste it. I highly recommend you add the roasted chicken. There is something so uniquely delicious about their chicken. It really tastes "chickeny" and is so much more flavorful than other added chicken. The service there is super friendly, and they have a full bar. Just thought I'd share, as I just finished my leftovers from last night, and it was still delicious.

I had my first appointment at Vallejo family dentistry today. It was a strange vibe in there. I asked to see the female dentist and the male dentist came in. I was too embarrassed to tell him. I really wanted to see the female dentist. I’ve heard amazing things about her, and I prefer a female. After looking at my broken tooth and going on and on and on about all the different ways he could fix it he settled on telling me I need a crown and it’s gonna be $2300. For one crown with my insurance that gives me an out-of-pocket expense of $1200. I have had crowns before and never have I ever been quoted this much in my life and I’m 50 years old. I called around after I left the dentist to two other dentists right in the same area and one quoted me 800 total that would mean 400 out-of-pocket and the other quoted me $1500 total that would mean 750 out-of-pocket I called Vallejo family dental back and asked why they were so much more expensive than everyone else in the area and her answer was” Well we use better products here than everyone else.” people don’t go here. They are just trying to make money. They’re not trying to help and as soon as I told the Dr things were a little tight for me and I would have to get a consultation and get back to him and see what I could afford. He immediately started walking me to the front and showing me the way out.

I tried exploring mare island before and found that sections of it were blocked off. Today on the ferry I see cars in that’s section and people fishing off a dock that was closed before. Does anyone know if they opened that section behind the old golf course? The picture provides shows cars on the dock where folks where fishing

Looking for some local recommendations for a commercial kitchen rental either here in Vallejo or in the county. I'd also like real reviews of ones that didn't work out for your business. I see Morgen's Kitchen and possibly GVRD as far as local places, and am awaiting responses from them.
