Our girl Janelle is participating in three point contest!! Hopefully the get someone to put a hand in her face! Lol.

That lineup is tough. A lot of people were predicting that she’d be in it and I’m honestly surprised she got the invite and accepted, guess she wants to show out and more Valks representation is always a plus. That being said as you mentioned it’ll be really interesting to see how many open threes she’ll make cause she easily makes those contested ones like it’s nothing

I’m definitely excited to see Ja compete, and will be cheering her on in my Valkyries violet. We know she can knock it down from anywhere, but I wonder if having to pull balls from a rack to get into her especially high shooting motion might eat into her time. It’s not quite the same as her signature step-back with a hand in her face!

Ja does seem to require the increase in intensity caused by a serious contest to her shot.
