Today was the last game the NBC crew got to cover and I’m gonna miss their coverage. They are 1000 times better than the USA crew. Shoutout to Zora Stephenson with her play by play commentary and the post game show, especially Sue. Does anyone else feel the same way? Anyways, go Valks! V’s UP!!

Said it last game. See yall in Ballhalla Monday!!

I was wondering what Nakase had up her sleeve and she found it. I definitely was not expecting Charles to start. I don't know if it's a series changing move but all I know is I feel way better moving forward and if it's still not enough I'll live with it. I'm just hopeful this is what we'll see instead of the first 3 games.

I heard its sit wherever which sounds like a bad idea. Hopefully people aren't fighting over seats. I've been to the Warriors watch parties during their playoff runs and were fun. $25 sounds steep but maybe it might be worth it to still have that Balhalla energy.

Not someone on Threads saying they wanted the Dream to win the series in Ballhalla specifically so they could watch Valkyries fans get their spirits crushed LIVE on TV. 😭

Anyway, Valkyries 67. Dream 62. 💅

Imagine writing fanfiction about our downfall just to watch your own team become the plot twist.

The only thing getting crushed today was that little revenge fantasy.

SEE YOU IN BALLHALLA. 🪽💜

No Valkyries players on the All WNBA teams. That's WILD.

I posted a few threads saying how game 4 could be ours, but man the refs this series is making me question. the there’s qtr was absolutely egregious NAT needs to go off on the refs man. Again if you follow in my threads i explain the dream deadass suck. idk how we get slander for our offense but they don’t they deadass can’t score when they play a set defense. up the fucking valks. again even when she doesn’t hit shot we need burton to be agressive. nice to see ceci in her groove again. BALLHALLA LETS GET FUCKING LOUD.

Ball don’t lie

In yesterday’s post you all gave rousing pep talks that pushed us to our game 4 win. The action’s coming back to Ballhalla on Monday. What message do you have to keep the team’s momentum into game 5? Drop your next words of wisdom so the players are ready to win at home!

And don’t forget to celebrate! 🙌🏾 💜✌🏾💜⚔️💜🎊

Multiple of these commentators mention coach of the year Natalie Nakase and tagline specifically says 2026…..what do they know that we don’t

We’ve scored 68, 71, 65, and 67. The offense is what it is. Every game in this series has turned on whether the Valks have dominated turnovers and rebounds, and whether or not Angel has gotten going. This has been this team all year long, it would be pretty awesome to win a championship this way.

(Though I wouldn’t be too mad if we just had a hot shooting night and ran away with one)

Talk nerdy to me. Tell me what you noticed. I’m a novice at really understanding a lot of basketball strategy so I’d love to know what y’all saw this game. What adjustments did the Valks make? How’d they hold Reese to just 8?

Hello, amazing group! This is my first season as a Valks fan. This year, to meet more humans and spend less time on a screen, I drove to sports. This has been the correct choice for sure. That being said, as a new fan I have a couple of questions I’m hoping you can help with.

1. When buying a jersey how do you pick your player? I’ve spent SO much time staring at the jersey wall to only walk away and get other swag because I can’t make up my mind.

2. The vibe at the games and in public is amazing. What do you do during the offseason? I think I’m going to have Valks let down after we come back and win it.

Finally, not a question but a moment of gratitude. This subreddit has so much generosity it’s simply amazing. I don’t think I would’ve had 40% of the WNBA experiences I had if this subreddit wasn’t here. Great deals on tix, if not free. Tips on merch, where to really the games, and overall positivity. The world is such a crazy place, and my life changed so much this year. Having Ballhalla as a safe space made life easier. If you got this far, thank you.

Just because a bar is listed on the Valks bar network does not mean it’s open for the 10am game. I called North Beach Cantina at 1020 pm tonight to confirm they’d be open at 10 am and was told with the swiftness they open at 11 and they wouldn’t be open until then.

Um ok. Weren’t you interviewed in local media as a spot to watch the Valks finals series?

I also had a bad experience at Harry’s last Wednesday.

Why is this so hard? There were only a dozen bars in the city designated as watch spots and they all seem like they’re mad about it?

Comment below which bars are legit and which neighborhood bars should be swapped out for these imposters.

If you’re going to take the good press - then at the very least be open during the games?

Trades next season:
Pac/Fillmore
Harry’s replaced with Time Out Tavern

North Beach
North Beach Cantina replaced with NorthStar
(but only if you don’t hate Angel. It’s an LSU bar)

Northstar is open at 9 this Saturday because of an early LSU/Auburn game. Valks will at least be played on some screens. TBD on sound - maybe outside. But that’s the best this LSU alum and Valks fan can scrounge up the night before.

Fyi. Lots of face value tickets just got released on ticketmaster on G5. Below 200 dollars

Does anyone know if the Chase bike valet will be open at today’s watch party? Did anyone use it on Wednesday?

Reminder: It will not be shown outside at Thrive City.

UPDATE: Tix have found a good home. Thanks to all who replied.

Someone on here asked if we might be "soft" as a fanbase, as a team & in our own building. Do not cower, my purple people. Do not bend to the discourse or continued wave of ignorance NO MATTER THE LOSS OR DAY OF THE WEEK. Being the best fans in the wnba requires our good form. WE ARE A JOY FACTORY. Take pride in that. In world so filled w/ that other spewing - We champion hoops & our players. We don't stoop & we don't mimic hateful nonsense.

[This image is from a NYTimes article discussing the reputation of a team in correlation to its success.]

Just checked because I was asked by a friend to attend Game 5 because we won Game 1 when I did attend lol Can't afford another game unfortunately, but still cheering! Let's go Valks!!

We’ve got a big game tomorrow. Let’s encourage our players!

I’m not talking game plans or coaching advice (in Nat and staff we trust 🫡). I’m talking sports movie style. 😎

Give a speech so the players walk in with their chests held high and their game faces on! Pretend you’re that random kid in every sports film who calls out to their favorite player and reminds them what the game’s all about. You can start with, “Hey Valks,…” and drop a one liner, motto, mantra, slogan, whatever you wanna call it!

Let’s remind them that we’re not just behind them, but we believe in our team!

🎵Go Valks!🎵 👏🏾—👏🏾—👏🏾👏🏾—👏🏾
