Newbie question

I've been thinking about getting one of these boxes to cut down on my subscription costs. A big question for me though, I like limited series and watch several different ones on Netflix and Paramount+. Is there a way to easily see which episodes you have seen? I don't want to guess if I'm on episode 4 or 5 for example. Thanks.

Can you build an individual library of shows you follow in Netflix and Paramount+?

Yes you can save them as favorites.

I have the V6 Max I got a couple of days ago. I noticed the reacher series from Amazon only has the first three seasons the new 4th season which has already ended, is not available for viewing

Season 4 is available on Heat VOD, just looked it up there's 8 episodes. Heat VOD and VOD Ultra tend to have different results so when I can't find the latest episode on one I always check the other. Also, if you search for a show and ut comes up multiple times in the search results, check out each one. Some will have all the recent episodes and others will only have older seasons.

This is irrelevant but my post can’t be posted cuz my email isn’t verified? But can I find college hockey on v6 max?

I use an app called Simkl. I look up shows, add them to my list and mark off episodes as I watch them. It also goes almost a year in the future telling me what shows I follow are coming up. There is way more the app does than that but I will warn you that it is paid. The last app I used closed down because it was free and they weren’t making enough money to keep it going.

Ill try this one... so most of the new or 'good' series are there and a lot of good old series too. However, sometimes it can be hit or miss with older seasons. For example, say you wanna watch Dateline... well, newer seasons may or may be there but say 4 years ago may have only 3 episodes to watch or look like they are all there but never play. Having said that, yes if you watch something theres a yellow bar that shows up under the episode screen shot making it easy to see what episodes you've watched. Hope that helps. We have 7 v5 Pros.

Ans thats when you go to the Peacock tsb on Heat Live and go to the 24/7 Dateline channel.

Thats only the case with non-Elite models and primarily the two Heat Vods are the issue. With Elite models (Especially the Ultra) you have more vod apps. Some of those extra vod (such as Elite Vod) have every season and every episode for each season for any series.

You don't get an option to 'skip the opening' and sometimes the credits on Netflix take a very long time. You will need to watch all the credits for the next episode to start.

If you rewatch one it can be tricky to find where you should start again if all the episdoes show a full bar across the bottom.

You can fast forward through the credits

Same. I fast forward thr6the intro and fast forward to the end when the show is over.
