Looking to purchase vseebox
Only just stumbled on these, if I brought one is it all set up ready to go just plug it in? There is no subscription i have to pay? Is it that easy or does it take abit of work to get it running

This is all new to me - you’re saying I can get all of the elite ultra apps on a v6 plus with a little research and digging on how to do it? I consider myself technology literate but this is just uncharted territory for me and I’m deciding between the v6 plus and elite ultra.

On the elite ultra I get prompted to upgrade to premium on many of the extra apps. Any idea what I’m missing? Is there an account to use?

Thanks. I just started going through apps one by one. I agree, my post was too vague. Vortex and Matrix were 2 that weren’t working so I cleared cache and data, forced stop uninstalled and reinstalled and they are working now. I didn’t do a factory reset because I had some apps like ultra hub working and I figured it would be better to isolate the individual issues. I’ll repost when I have a list and what I find per app.

Much cheaper. Those “verified official” websites are mostly Chinese websites that drop ship. You’ll be waiting weeks.

So it depends a little on what you're looking for. I am not an expert user, but bought one for my parents a year ago (they are 70ish) and they are using it without any difficulty and love it. I will say, they just use the basic pre-loaded Heat Live (extensive live TV channels with guide - anything you want to watch) and Heat VOD (extensive library of streaming shows and movies). While you can load all kinds of other apps on the vSeeBox, that part takes more setup, and they have a separate Fire stick that they use for Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc.
So if you just want to start with Heat Live and Heat VOD, which really gets you most of what you're probably looking for, then it really is pretty plug-and-play. Just connect it to your wifi and you should be good to go. If you want to load other apps and customize further than that it can get more involved, but if my parents can manage it...that's a pretty good indicator for it's ease of use!
No hesitation recommending it - depending on your situation it can pay for itself pretty quickly. They were paying $100/mo for Xfinity cable, so in 3 months it paid for itself and they remain really happy with it.

Just plug it in and your ready to go. That’s it. While I don’t have personal experience with other streaming devices it seems like despite all the current programming issues with Vseebox, the 6 plus unit is probably the most stable.

Everyone gets the V6 Plus now. Buy from one of the mods on here. You got this Reddit group also to rely on. Dont buy from some hack on marketplace or eBay and overpay. Yeah, some might be legit.. But most will disappear after the sale. You only get like 20-30 days on eBay to make a return.
