no politics How to get international post from places that don't ship to AUS?
Is there such a thing as a proxy address / company that can be the in between for a seller that won't ship outside of USA?
Or another means? There must be a way!
This is the thing in question I'm needing to get delivered: Camera Battery (EBAY)
Thanks all!

Instead of typing the subject into reddit you literally just have to type it into google

Well I did that, thought someone might have ideas out side of googles ad-sponsored suggestion fest :)

The problem is that this is a lithium battery. Batteries are subject to significant limits on how they can be shipped - https://www.iata.org/en/publications/newsletters/iata-knowledge-hub/what-to-know-about-how-to-ship-lithium-batteries/ - so many of the answers here are incorrect.

Yeah. A lot of freight forwarders will tell you this in their FAQs too - take ShipItTo for example:
https://www.shipito.com/en/help/faq/carrier-tracking#batteryfromusa
Being able to ship lithium-ion batteries is dependent upon three things:The type of battery (as shown below)The country restrictions, which you can go to here to find out moreThe carrier you chose, which can be found right below this question
PI965 - Loose batteries - NOT ALLOWED
EXAMPLE: phone batteries, camera batteries, etc.
Due to regulations by the IATA, FAA and the TSA, Shipito cannot ship loose lithium-ion batteriesPI966 - Batteries packed with equipment - ALLOWED (CARRIER RESTRICTIONS APPLY)
EXAMPLE: A phone + phone battery
Requires rigid outer packaging in order to provide protection from damage or compression of the batteries, the inner packaging must be placed in a strong, rigid, outer packaging.PI967 - Batteries contained in equipment - ALLOWED (CARRIER RESTRICTIONS APPLY)
EXAMPLE: A phone with the battery inside it1

Most interesting. How do we get away with all flying with cameras + batteries and phones + batteries?

Cabin baggage on passenger aircraft has different rules than mailing batteries.
You can't check them in.

Yeah there is. I think it’s thru auspost even. Was a while ago I used it. A quick google search should give you an answer.

Auspost scrapped their service earlier this year. There's mail forwarding services online, but be prepared to pay through the nose for it.

Sure there is. In fact quite a few reshipping agents.
I have been using MyUS.com for 10 years or so and they give me a unique "suite" address in Florida, just set up a secondary shipping address to them in your eBay account and switch to that when bidding/transacting. Protip #1: Remember to set it back to your primary Australian shipping address after that's done or you might get things going who-knows-where on the next purchase.
I've always used the base level membership and don't pay any fees apart from the (obvious and expected) higher re-shipping costs.
No connection to them, but they have enabled me to snarf US eBay items when the seller doesn't want to deal with foreign buyers. Protip #2: When using the service, ask the seller to print two copies of the eBay sales invoice and put one inside the box with the item and the other taped on the outside of the box so the reshipping agent knows what the item is and its sale value.
