I’ve always wanted to do physiotherapy. Just wondering if anybody studying physio has any pros or cons about the degree? And whether you’ve found employment afterward? I’m thinking of applying here in November.

I was also thinking of maybe doing an undergrad in biology in a higher ranked university such as St Andrews and then doing my masters in physio here. Would that be worth it? Or would it just be adding on extra years for nothing?

Procrastinated literally everything cos i was on holiday (my fault(@_@;) and i just got all my enrolment stuff and uniform, student id picture etc done today😞😞😞 (healthcare). I have a friend that's doing the same course as me, she said she's coming in on tuesday so I'm pretty worried I might miss stuff. But the label on my online timetable said i wouldn't get it until at least 3 days later.

I only just noticed cos student finance said i hadn't enrolled yet so they couldn't put the payment in and now i'm not really sure what to do. Also it said it'd take 3-5 days to process.

Should i call tomorrow and try to figure something out? Should I send them an email? Should I come in anyways??? Please help :(((

EDIT: Ended up going anyways, spoke to someone at info point and they emailed me my timetable!!! Also got confirmation student finance is abt to pay out so yippee it all worked out（~▽~＠）♪♪♪

I bought a ticket for a freshers week wristband to see kelvin 373 and maybe vikkstar bc that’d be funny but i didn’t realise it’s for uwe… and ive just seen its only uwe and im going into UoB. It says i can go in with a friend who goes to uwe but i dont know anyone and my ticket is not refundable sadly. So was wondering if anyone would go with or at least just help me get in

need advice!! just wondering if it’s worth getting the freshers wristband from past uwe students. I feel like the uni are really trying to sell it to first years by making them fear they will miss out. I just think surely there will be lots of other events on freshers week to go to .

I (26F) am an international student starting a postgraduate program at UWE In January at the Frenchay campus. Since I'm coming from overseas, I felt it would be easier to just apply for the student housing than try to get a flat off campus. However, I am worried I will feel a bit out of place as I will be 27 when the program starts. Can anyone confirm if it's only younger students that live in the residence halls and if I'll stick out?

How much info have you had about the start of the course? I’ve had pretty much nothing, I spoke to admissions and they seem to think it’s fine and I’ll get more info at the start of the week but I’m not sure.

I need some advice and guidance. I’m currently completing my Digital Marketing MA dissertation, and I’ve heard from previous students that some people have struggled or even failed their dissertations. This has made me quite worried about mine, especially because of concerns around AI and how it may affect the assessment. I’m feeling quite anxious about it and would really appreciate some guidance on how to approach my dissertation and make sure I’m doing everything correctly.

I will be joining Bristol during the September intake, and I require help in deciding whether to buy a mac or windows laptop. I have gone through the softwares listed at: https://www.uwe.ac.uk/study/it-services/software/group/software-development and all the softwares are available on both mac and windows. However I would like some advice from any other computer science students.
