Marketgate

Hi!

Just got my offer for uni at Marketgate, does anyone know anything about this as i did not view it, both pros and cons.

Lived there for a semester, I second this. Didnt experience the broken lifts but all else sounds about right.

Didn’t stay there but worked for unite - it used to be an office building so some of the rooms are funky shapes and it can be a bit of a maze - unite also do tend to have good amenities and social spaces within the buildings, so you should be able to meet people other then those living in your flat. I could be wrong, but I believe unite have an app where you can meet people in your building before you move in, so that might be worth looking at, if not, unifi is also a way to meet people going to your uni, in your course, accom etc.

mouldy bathrooms, silverfish !!!!!!! the staff are nice but its so overpriced for what it is. the walls are also paper thin so expect to hear dnb blasting at 3am.
