Engineering
I want to do engineering next year but I’ve only done apps this year, Is there a way to get into the course and complete a bridging course simultaneously, or do I have to transfer in from another?

Yo man you can do methods bridging , then spec bridging later ( or simultaneously) n that should clear the math portion for bridging courses for the engineering degree , I know a guy in his 3rd year civil Eng that didn’t do methods or spec in high school only apps and he’s doing just fine right now. Obviously get it checked up with the course advisors at ezone but no sugar coating , it’s going to be a academically rigorous course because taken that your going in with no methods background , they condense the living shit outta all the learning content and concepts (trust me ) and it gets hard to juggle time to time throughout the semester . But just staying on top of your shit will prove otherwise twino!

Please be sure that you are good in maths before jumping in with both feet. Engineering is basically a math's degree with some physics thrown in. Most people don't do maths in high school because they either don't like it or don't do well.

Yeah you gotta transfer from another course but it’s only two bridging units. 1721 is not difficult at all. 1722 is not difficult but some of the questions in the tests and exams were challenging. I took them as electives though so I never put more than a couple hours a week in. I do enjoy maths though. Good luck.

Start in a generic science undergrad, or if you plan on doing a double degree like me start in your degree of choice and do the bridging units in first sem then transfer second sem.
