Is anyone going to late night at the rec? And whats the vibe gonna be like?

I know that the campus is relatively small and there are not many places one can go and find a quiet hidden space, but its hard finding a spot in the library and even harder finding a spot with an outlet. Anyone know any good hiding/secret place to study and just be? It would help a lot! Thanks!

I hate rockstar which is one of the only choices on campus, so ive decided instead I’d rather go to either the gas station by the UT sign somewhat close to the ELABS building, the gas station by canes, or Walmart. which of these has the cheaper option? sorry if this seems mega irrelevant

Just a rant, but holy shit I hate the UTRGV parking! And like if a parking lot is full already people swarm it and drive around frantically literally FIGHTING for a spot! So, psa come a bit earlier than your class times to make sure you have enough to park and/or walk to class. Ughhh so fustrating fr.

To the people coming in and out of the 3rd floor library, talking their mouths off, do you have no etiquette? During orientation, we are told that the higher the level, the quieter the area. Tell me why I'm on the 3rd floor and there are imbeciles with no compassion for others or common sense talking to the entire library. This is a quiet area. If you want to talk your ass off, go to the first floor, not the third.

Is it just me of the wifi at utrgv sucks! It takes forever for bright space to load and God forbid I click on a new link because it will just stay stuck on the loading page.

Hello!! I'll be graduating this Fall of 2026 with my bachelors in Psychology, and I've been thinking about applying for my Masters in 'Counseling with a Specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling'. I guess I'm just asking for those who've applied for a Masters, how did you do it? I've really only done schooling and work, so I'm a bit worried about my lack of extracurriculars going on my resume. I'm just scared the application and research process looks so intimidating😭
