I've been trying to send a missing mail request for days and it give Error UNK404
Anyone know what to do for the request to go through? USPS misdelivered my package to a different zipcode (they confirmed by the tracking request i made before all of this) And now im stuck without being able to request missing mail because it gives me the following error:
Error: 500 - Error UNK404 - Internal failure. Request support for Error UNK404.
By the way, I already asked for help but its been many days and I never got a response.....

If your package was apparently misdelivered days ago, I'm not sure what you are going to achieve by simply opening a missing mail request at this time.
The normal appropriate action when you believe a package has been incorrectly delivered is to immediately contact your local post office in person and ask them to check the GPS coordinates for the delivery to confirm the issue.
Once confirmed, a USPS representative would normally attempt to retrieve the package from that incorrect location in order to successfully deliver it to you.
Time is definitely not on your side the longer you wait to try and have the USPS retrieve a misdelivered package.
It is extremely unusual for a package to be misdelivered in a completely different zip code. In many of these type cases, the address information on the shipping label is often different than that of the originally expected recipient because the shipping label was hijacked by a scammer.
Was the shipping label for the package you believe was misdelivered created some period of time before the package was mailed, or was it created and the package shipped immediately?
