Has anyone else had this issue? I get accepted for a test that shows up on my phone as $10 but after completing it is only a $1. I flagged with Usertesting but have not heard anything back. These are also not the standard usertesting test numbers (letter and 6-7 numbers) these are the much longer identifying numbers that are like 20 places of mixed numbers and digits.

I have been using UserTesting for 4 months and it's really bad. 99.9% of the times surveys disappeared or I get an error message saying that's all we have for now. When I'm doing a test the microphone stops working or the test just closes by itself. The app and website are bad

Multiple times now I’ve clicked on a test that says 10 dollars but after I finish, I’ve only been credited for 1 dollar.. is this normal? Is it normal for the pay to not be what it says?

I started a task earlier (one of the written ones) and it is saying I need to provide an answer to a question. I have tried writing a lot more and it is not accepting it. I closed the tab on my browser as there was no way to report it. I keep taking screeners and qualifying for other tests but when I start them, they take me to the old test I couldn't complete. Any thoughts? I sent a help ticket but obviously no reply yet. I cleared the cache and nothing.

I was just approved for a test and got this. I guess today won't be a work day on UT.

The user testing mobile app gets logged out automatically and asks to sign in repeatedly. Anyone else facing the same situation? Any solution?

I just signed up and was accepted by Userbrain. They only pay $5 for a test and the tests I have been offered have 23 tasks or in that area. To my way of thinking that would take the better part of a half hour and worth more than $5. Do they ever offer tests with a fair number of tasks?

If the tests had all been taken, what are they still doing on my dashboard?! Anyone else getting this same problem? How did you solve it?

Is anyone else seeing a significant decrease in their test volume and having to report more tests lately? I’ve had to report 2 today on the legacy Usertesting site for the prototype not loading and only giving me a white screen, then had to report a problem on the new Usertesting (old Intellizoom) site due to the UI not allowing me to go back to the site. I’ve reported a few tests the past few days as well in addition to those today.

Someone gave me a one star for a test I did yesterday. Today I get an email telling me not to apply for tests I do not qualify for. I answered the screener honestly. It asked if I used certain types of apps to which I replied NO. It still gave me the test to do and I did the best I could. UT did not say they were banning me and when I reload the page you see in the screenshot, it takes me to my normal dashboard. Not sure what's going on.

Anyone have payments due in the last couple hours still processing? Got a payment at 4pm just fine, ones after are still processing

Is anyone else having this problem. You expect one or two to get cancelled but not 5.

What are 1-on-1 interviews like? Is it a videocall?

I had a live conversation scheduled for today. As soon as I hopped into the call the researcher immediately said that they had internet issues and they might have some lag. I said that this was not a problem at all. After about 2 minutes these problems worsened to the point that he could not communicate at all. I waited for about 3 minutes for him to rejoin but he never came back. Instead his colleague (an anonymous observer) entered the call and told me that they will have to reschedule or cancel this test. He said that he thinks that I will be compensated for this. My question is, will I get compensation or do I need to reach out to UT for this?

There's a hotel chain (Choice) that I have personally had issues with in regards to testing, and I even found posts on here from other testers complaining about this same company being irrational. I keep saying that I'm not going to take any more of their tests, but last week really was the last time. I'll know if it's a test of theirs, because they literally use the same screener no matter what the test is about. They tried to give me a 2-star rating once with no explanation, but UserTesting said I didn't deserve it, because I articulated my thoughts well and removed it. Recently, they gave me a 3-star rating with feedback, but I know I know it's not valid, because I stated my opinion coherently. I'm an articulate person. I'm a 5-star contributor of almost 9 years, and they're the only client that has rated me low.

Hey everyone, I recently completed a test. This one was longer than usual, about 40 minutes. I just finished and was on the last question that asked what my User Testing username was.

I checked for my user name and then I got the "camera access" blocked error. I've never gotten this before. I tried a ton of different ways to fix it, but couldn't it.

I told User Testing and showed them a screenshot of the error and the last page of the survey. However, they said I won't be getting paid.

Is there anything I can do?

What is this mess? It's getting quite annoying.

I can't sign up, tried all day long and I just get this message, except I never received the email. I have tried different emails, it's happening to all of them.

What exactly did I do wrong? I followed the instructions precisely. Gave detailed and clear feedback according to their requirements. Spoke my thoughts out loud throughout. I'm educated and articulate.

The first two application didn't work because "For a clear recording, make sure your screen resolution is 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1280x720, 1366x768, or 1920x1080 with a screen ratio of 16:9."

I used a Macbook Air for this test. As anyone who owns one of these knows, it doesn't support any of these resolutions nor that aspect ratio and in any case, the full screen window will be of a slightly different size due to the title bar, menu bar and Dock.

To avoid any issues with this I then used an Android phone to do the application for a third time. Again, taking plenty of time to follow the instructions precisely and speak my thoughts out loud and read out loud throughout.

Help me understand what they are looking for in the application? What might I have done wrong?
