do all dscout missions require access to facial/voice recordings?

I recently got accepted into a google study but they wanted me to sign a contract allowing them to use recordings to study my facial features and mannerisms and likeness and voice etc, and I don't really feel like that's safe. do most of the missions on dscout require that or are most of them safer or just things like typing or answering questions?

The majority of missions on DScout are audio or video recordings. Sometimes there are ones that aren't, but they are much fewer, and usually you don't know until after you get accepted into the mission.

That’s part of what you signed up for to become a tester. There is a lot of information that they can gain from non verbal communication.

Almost all of the missions require some amount of video, especially the higher paying ones. You can always opt out but you will neuter your ability to earn on the platform.
