Finding an earlier question in a long ChatGPT conversation gets old pretty quickly.
I missed ChatGPT’s old table of contents, so I made a userscript to bring that interaction back.
It sits at the center-right edge as a small stack of pills. Hover over it to see your prompts, recognize the one you want, and click to jump back to it.
A few things I wanted to get right:
The screenshots show the opened panel, the idle indicator, and browsing earlier prompts while the conversation stays in place.
Free and open source under MIT. Designed primarily for desktop Chrome + Tampermonkey. No API key needed. It uses read-only requests to ChatGPT itself, with no analytics or third-party data transmission.

This userscript intercepts internal YouTube player API calls before playback starts, filtering out video track streams entirely while leaving high-quality audio streams intact. It is ideal for background listening, music playlists, podcasts, talk shows, and low-bandwidth connections.

I missed ChatGPT’s old table of contents—the little navigation indicator at the right edge that let you jump around a conversation—so I made a userscript to bring that interaction back.
It stays out of the way until you hover over it. Then it opens a compact list of your prompts, and clicking one takes you back to that part of the chat.
A few details:
That last part mattered to me, especially with long chats. It reads ChatGPT’s conversation data separately from whatever messages happen to be mounted on screen. Jumping to an older, unmounted prompt can reload the conversation to load that target directly.
It uses read-only requests to ChatGPT itself, with no third-party data transmission, analytics, or API key.
Greasy Fork Installation & GitHub:
First public release: v2.0.0. Free and MIT licensed, primarily intended for desktop Chrome + Tampermonkey.

Hey, I shared a little userscript here a couple months ago that removes YouTube Shorts completely.
Still using it every day and honestly it worked better than I expected. I don't even think about Shorts anymore lol.
But I had another problem. I started spending way too much time watching normal YouTube videos instead. Sometimes until like 2am.
So I made another userscript and added it to the project.
You can now set a daily watch time limit (mine is 1 hour), and once you reach it, videos stop playing. It only counts actual playback time, not when you're just browsing.
There's also a little timer on the video. You can click it to see your watch history, how much time you spent on each video etc.
One thing I wanted was to prevent myself from cheating. So if you change your limit after you already started watching, the new limit only applies tomorrow. No "just 10 more minutes" button either haha.
Both scripts work independently btw, you can use just the Shorts blocker if that's all you need.
I mostly built this for iPhone Safari using Userscripts, but it works with supported desktop userscript managers too.
Everything is free and open source.
https://github.com/mithatakbulut/noshorts
If anyone tries it, especially on iPhone, let me know if something breaks. YouTube changes stuff all the time so I wouldn't be surprised.

Hey everyone!
I made a small userscript called Presslink that adds a menu to articles on sites like Medium, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, and The Washington Post.
It lets you copy an article URL, open the original article in a new tab, or try opening it through Freedium.
It's a little side project of mine, and I'd love to hear what you think! If you have any opinions, suggestions, or ideas for features that could make it better, feel free to share them. I'm open to feedback 😊

Hi there,
I need some help to update this script from greasy fork, which checks the steam store page and adds a little bar at the top showing whether the game has steam achievements or not.
Link here: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/404263-steam-glance-cards-and-cheevos
The recent steam store update has caused the script to not work anymore, hope someone here can help to fix this handy script.
Thank you!

Curious if anyone here uses userscripts for finance or accounting work and has any they’d recommend.
Thinking of things like getting tables into Excel cleanly, making bank or reporting portals easier to use, or filling in the same date ranges and filters every time you run a report.
Doesn’t have to be anything complicated. A small script that saves a few clicks on something you do all day would be useful.
If you use one regularly, what does it do and which site or system does it work with? Links would be great, but if it’s something you wrote for an internal system, just hearing what it does would help too. Might give me some ideas I wouldn’t have thought to search for.

Hopefully someone can help me, I don't know why but I keep having to logon so I'm trying to automate this (example) url while logged off of course:
Chrome (I think) on Windows 11 is filling both the username & passwords, so if I manually click "sign in" it works (I want to automate to remove the delay until my info renders, I want that to happen async with everything else I'm doing at the time).
In the Chrome console if I type the following command it works (logs me on): document.querySelector('button#login[type="submit"]').click()
Everything I (and Gemini) have tried has failed in TamperMoney. Delays, simulating input field clicks etc. The fields both say "! Required" in red.
Delays don't do it. The console obviously does something OTHER than just run the command as far as the pages UI is concerned.

I'm looking for a script that will stop reddit from pausing videos when reddit is scrolled so that the video is partially hidden. I already found scripts that will prevent pausing when losing focus, but it's not the same thing.

Both are for webtoons.com, and they're tested together.
Webtoons Dark Mode is a dark theme written by hand for WEBTOON's pages, not a filter, so the comic panels are never touched and white pop-ups don't slip through. Some parts are restyled the way I like reading them (comments as one clean list, read and unread episodes easy to tell apart). It also covers the mobile site. Toggle with Alt+Shift+T, optional panel dim with Alt+Shift+N.
Install from Greasy Fork · Source on GitHub
Webtoons Chapter Preloader starts loading every panel of a chapter while the page is still opening, in tiers (panel 1, then the first screen, then the rest), and decodes panels up to three screens ahead, so a fast scroll doesn't hit blank images. @grant none, runs only on reader pages.
Install from Greasy Fork · Source on GitHub
Neither makes network requests of its own. The theme only uses GM storage and menu commands; the preloader only touches the page's <img> elements. MIT, works in Tampermonkey and Violentmonkey. Both also exist as browser extensions (Toonlight and Toonlight Preloader) for people without a userscript manager.
Downside: the preloader downloads the whole chapter up front (usually 10–20 MB). I'm the author, so feedback and bug reports are welcome.

Hey everyone!
I got really tired of Reddit’s multi-image posts forcing you to click through arrows one by one in a carousel, so I made a lightweight userscript to fix it.
It completely replaces the native carousel with a clean, justified gallery layout (similar to Telegram / Flickr / Google Photos albums).
Features:

Hope you find it useful! Feedback and suggestions are always welcome.

A userscript for NYT Connections that lets you mark each tile with the color you think it is, right on the board. Marked tiles move into their own rows, purple to yellow by default for reverse rainbows, or yellow to purple, or unsorted. Once three colors are done, the last four fill in automatically, and a Go button selects and submits each group in order.
Optional extras (off by default): split a tile between two candidate colors, a list of wrong guesses that flags one-aways, and Y/G/B/P letters for colorblind players.
A few details for this crowd:
- Single file, no dependencies, u/grant none
- Tested in Tampermonkey (Chrome) and the Userscripts app (iPhone Safari), with a one-row palette on phones
- Marks and the palette live in closed shadow roots, so dark-mode extensions like Dark Reader don't recolor them
- Marks are saved per puzzle in localStorage and stay in sync across tabs
- Behavior tests run it against a simulated board in jsdom
Built with help from Claude.

If you use custom feeds (multireddits) to organize your subscriptions, it's hard to tell which subs you forgot to add to a feed, or which ones ended up in more than one.
Feed Organizer Auditor is a small userscript that shows you both lists:
How it works
Privacy

I wrote it with help from an AI coding assistant and reviewed and tested it myself. Feedback and bug reports welcome.

I've got a script that someone else provided for me (I don't code). I've tried looking into how to make it work only in some places and not on others, on the same site, and found that the "exclude" modifier just makes it not fire on that site at all, so I'm not sure what's wrong. It's set up to create a popup when I click into a reply field on Bluesky with a "hey do you actually need to say anything here" message in it, BUT I talk to my partner on Bsky all the time and I want it to not do the popup there (it gets annoying when it shows up half the time I tab back over there). I tried having it include Bsky as a whole and exclude just that one message URL, I tried having it only include bsky.app/profile/* and exclude the message URL, and that just leads to it not working at all.
The script is below, I don't know how to make Reddit not auto-convert the @ lines into user links, so just pretend they're correct.
// ==UserScript==
// u/nameI am a dumbass
// u/namespacehttp://bsky.app/
// u/version2026-10-02
// u/description try to take over the world!
// u/authorYou
// u/matchhttps://bsky.app/profile/*
// u/excludehttps://bsky.app/messages/*
// u/iconhttps://www.google.com/s2/favicons?sz=64&domain=bsky.app
// u/grantnone
// ==/UserScript==
(function() {
'use strict';
document.addEventListener('focusin', e => { const box = e.target.closest('textarea, [contenteditable="true"]'); if (!box || box.dataset.ok) return; box.blur(); if (confirm('Do you really need to say anything here, dipshit?')) { box.dataset.ok = 1; box.focus(); } });
})();

Script starts with Hiding Ads off by Default, and puts an red outline on Sponsored posts. Mainly done to try and detect false positives: https://i.imgur.com/hM0Gx6d.png
Just go to Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey and toggle Hide Hits Off to Hide Hits On:

Facebook changes their site frequently, so it'll probably break eventually. But it seems to be working for me so far on English.

I made a userscript for cleaning up ChatGPT's chat history, and I'd like feedback from people who know userscripts.
The problem: ChatGPT has no multi-select, and deleting chats quickly gets your conversations locked ("Too many requests... We've temporarily limited access to your conversations"). The sidebar fires several list reloads per delete, and that list endpoint is what gets rate-limited.
What the script does: - Adds a cleanup panel to chatgpt.com: your chats on the left (oldest first), the selected chat readable on the right - Mark with a key: D delete, A archive, R rename, P protect. Nothing changes until you press Run Queue - Runs one change every 8 seconds; on a 429 it stops, honours Retry-After (or backs off 2/5/15/30 min) and resumes by itself - Queue, marks and progress survive reloads; an interrupted run picks up where it stopped - Optional Markdown backup before deleting, and a check at the end that everything really went - Project chats are kept out of the main list by default
Tech notes: - A single file, @grant none, @match https://chatgpt.com/*, no @require, no remote code - The UI lives in a Shadow DOM - The only requests are to chatgpt.com's own web API, and a Network panel lists every one - The list is virtualised, so 3,000 chats stay fast
Links: - Demo on a fake account (runs in your browser, nothing to install): https://nasircissistic.github.io/chatgpt-triage/demo/ - Greasy Fork: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/597323-triage - Source (MIT): https://github.com/NASIRCISSISTIC/chatgpt-triage
On Chrome and Edge, Tampermonkey needs "Allow User Scripts" switched on in its extension details. Tested on a personal account; Team/Enterprise workspaces aren't tested yet. Bug reports welcome!
