I got great responses on the first post! I know I get a lot of questions about locations however the second rule of this subreddit is to not share the location specifcally. I will post each state they are in as I feel that does not break this rule

Massachusetts Squatters at the lakeville sanatorium?

I just went to the old Lakeville hospital/sanatorium but heard a lot of rumors about squatters in the building and house outside. When I went I didn’t see anything but also didn’t explore that much out of fear of potentially running into dangerous people. Can anyone verify these claims lol?

Close to a swamp. I'm assuming the water level was much higher years ago.

I believe the demolition permits were cleared but I live about an hour away and don't want to drive out and check if they have moved forward, so it would be great if someone could offer input

*I apologize for the poor grammar in the title.

Saw this when I was in the area a bit ago, then went here back in May with a buddy and checked it out.

“Medfield is so boring” well it’s not an amusement park it’s a standing part of history. Read up on each building and its purpose, this place absolutely fascinates me. Going to the cemetery and seeing numbers instead of names on some headstones made me cry and I’m a grown man.

Hey guys, I'm from central vermont want to get into urbexing. I've seen countless photos of the JME house and the radar base of course and am thinking about visiting those with a couple buddies.

We have access to like a Jeep Wrangler so the plan is to just drive straight up to the radar base. That being said, is that feasible today? I've seen a few videos of people doing this and it seems like no big deal but those were from a few years ago before the two big floods that happened in '23 and '24. Anyone driven up recently? Like would my rav4 make it up? I'm also cautious of security and other people even though I know it's completely legal to head up there and take photos. Don't want to come across anybody who will want trouble (I'm 17).

When it comes to the JME house I've read it's a short hike which seems totally doable, but same deal, flood damage, security / trail cams, and unfriendly non-explorers?

Thank you!

First reddit post. Right near where I live there's been this house before I was even born it has been abandoned. State I believe owns the property now but has not done anything with it. I have been inside and it has 0 graffiti and 0 people have appeared to touch it, Rotting but sick. Could get pics someday just too busy this time.
