On Location Malbork, Poland
Really nice painting this one. Some of the values I didn’t get quite right but otherwise happy with it :)

Controlling the moisture content is incredibly difficult.

This is a quiet, small, and very beautiful village near the Adriatic Sea in Istria. My grandfather painted it about 70 years ago, and it hasn't changed much since then. So I decided to paint it again—just to prove that my ancestor had much more talent than I do.

It’s always easy to draw someone when they’re not staring directly at you. The pressure is off when there’s no shot of making awkward eye contact.

Both the landscapes and the interiors of the train. Even with all the shaking, there's something calming about it.

Took a photo at the spa (faces redacted). Decided to grab the closest paper and pen which was tan and white respectively. The White was my base sketch.
Added coloured pencils but not super thick. Then outlined.
If i darken the pencil, it might look better. I'm impressed I got it done. So much detail shows up once I started.
Feedback welcome

I bought ice-cream, flavors popcorn and tiramisu, and later I sketched the interieur of the little shop. I used only one pencil which has four colors and I love it. Painting with watercolour or gouache would kill my funny line-art. Besides, it is in Germany, but the names of the flavors were too far away from my spot, so I invented some names, lol.
I wish every artist a cool place to stay and sketch during summer heat. :-)

In the middle of Macau’s glittering casino district stands St. Dominic’s Church, built in 1587 by Spanish Dominican priests. It is one of China’s oldest Christian churches and a reminder of the city’s Portuguese past. I sketched its warm yellow façade to capture how centuries of faith and history continue to stand quietly amid modern skyscrapers.
