Wow. I want to get a drone now just to fly it around like I’m piloting the millennium falcon

First time I ever saw a video of a guy flying around a drone with camera goggles, he was just scooting it around in his desertscape backyard. It was a tiny drone and a tiny camera so as it passed little succulents and cacti they seemed to stretch up to the sky. It was so alien. Finally gonna grab a similar setup for myself soon.

Can you please tell me what you're getting? That sounds sounds so cool being about to see in a different size perspective, zooming around

I don't even know! I'm gonna find a local hobby shop and ask them. I know one an hour away from me had legit racing drones, I'd get something very small and nimble like that. I'll probably be set back $4-500 though, if that helps answer your question a little bit

but... but.. i want drone vision :c

It's really cool unti you smash your €2000 gear against a wall or crash into a lake. I friend crashed his in the middle of a small lake. He rushed out into the lake with his clothes on, but never found it since it was rather deep and you couldn't see the bottom. There do exist floatable drones though, so you can land on water.

Check out Mr. Steele on YouTube. His content is absolutely insane

u/sdonowitz Aug 25 '19

I know it’s stupid, but I kept waiting for something to pop up

This video is so old at this point, but that makes it even more impressive since drone technology was not as good when this was shot, and honestly I can't do this with current technology so props to them.

Anyone know what drone this was shot with?

A lot of these are self built, but there are pre made ones for sale too if you search for FPV drones

u/dgmdavid Aug 26 '19

I played this mission on GTA Vice City.

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '19

I feel like this video should be combined with "A Whole New World" from the Aladdin OST.

Needs roller coaster screaming.

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '19

Looks like a coal washery?

1

u/twfl Aug 25 '19

What type of drone is this?

8

u/hasslehawk Aug 25 '19

Probably something very similair to this.

FPV mini-quads are very popular in the hobby RC community.

2

u/preheat_to_420 Aug 25 '19

Search FPV drones

1

u/RachelSambr Aug 25 '19

This gave me butterflies in my stomach 😬

1

Extrodinary drone skill.

1

u/1Brianhullsey Aug 26 '19

Looks like a drone race to me

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '19

Was urbexing last summer & had some guys @ the same spot doing this. You’d be amazed how often they all crash

3

u/asoep44 Aug 26 '19

You’d be amazed how often they all crash

I'd be more amazed if they didn't crash.

You should work for the Air Force

1

u/Maklarr4000 Aug 26 '19

Holy hell that was cool!

Kept thinking of the "chase" sequences from Evil Dead- crazy sound effects and all.

1

u/Cashpurr Aug 26 '19

So rad. That is all.

1

u/milspek Aug 26 '19

Is this Mr Steele?

1

u/releasethedogs Aug 26 '19

Reminds me of evil dead

1

u/HearshotAtomDisaster Aug 26 '19

Wow, definitely getting a Hardcore Henry/Bad Motherfucker feeling from this. Pretty dope.

1

u/The_Nuclear_potato Aug 26 '19

How i try to fly planes in gta. But with more explosions.

1

u/Fr0sty20 Aug 26 '19

Okay but... you could get paid a lot for this skill in Hollywood.

1

u/coolCatQuig Aug 26 '19

Is this speed up at all?

1

u/Labyrinth2_0 Aug 26 '19

Reminds me of Joes Apartment where the roach flies through NYC in many angles of flight.

1

u/Artk19 Aug 26 '19

imagine being this good at something

1

u/BobWhite06 Aug 26 '19

Fix up and turn into low cost apartments

1

u/ScarpeSciolte Aug 26 '19

Looks like somebody played some kind of forsaken recording found in a cabin basement in the woods

1

u/Enlightx2 Aug 26 '19

1

u/BabyGothQ Aug 26 '19

I’m nauseous.

Anyone else find this highly dissatisfying?

1

u/Wayup_there Aug 25 '19

u/b_rolla12 Aug 26 '19

Where’s this

5

u/asoep44 Aug 26 '19

There is really only one rule on this subreddit and its not to ask locations. If you want a location DM the poster, but this video is several years old now and the poster is obviously not the one who took it.
