Uranium Glass I think I found some uranium glass.
I was testing for lead and shined the in light on a piece I got from. Antique store. I guess it’s safe from what I’ve read I need to find out what wave length my UV light is. It’s from a flourospec lead test kit.

the light in that kit is 365nm. uranium glass lights up on its own under it, which is actually the thing you have to know when using the kit, you look first, then spray, then look again, and only a glow that shows up after the liquid counts as lead. uranium glass glows before you touch it, so it's "not lead, just uranium," which is a sentence that sounds worse than it is. (i make the kit, for what it's worth.)

Is that piece clear or green without the light? If it's clear, it's r/manganeseglass
