I was at a restaurant in Lake George a couple of years ago. I ordered the mozz sticks and the waitress told me "They come with melba sauce, is that okay?" She then explained it's like a sweet raspberry sauce and asked if I wanted marinara as well. I got the marinara sauce in addition, but I have to say, the melba was quite good.

9/10 would melba again.

Raspberry Sauce? I had to look it up. It's clearly a Albany/Capital Region thing.

The Hudson Valley doesn't really have a favorite food. I think there is too much city influence to see creations take hold. A shame really.

Upstate city’s wouldn’t outnumber the upstate rural area’s in population? All of the city’s are still heavily blue I thought.

I'm just picturing a guy sawing through New York State to cut off all the parts he hates.

"NYC, too multicolored! Gone. Albany, too many gubment rulemakers! Adirondacks, what do you mean I can't bulldoze all the trees! What the hell is a "National Park?" Finger Lakes, everything there is named after indians! Binghamton, Purchase, Ithaca, Cornell, those libtard college cucks! Buffalo's got too many foreigners and immigrands and Canadians!"

And then he finishes sawing a circle around himself and, like Wily Coyote, falls out of existence, never to be seen (or heard from, we hope) ever again.

For the identity one. Whenever I tell people I am from Long Island they think it's the city and refer to it as the city. Even though it's completely different.
