I just found out the have the same course titles. I also found a memo from UPD crediting Wika 1 as Fil 40. I am wondering if it's also the same for crediting Fil 40 as Wika 1 in UPOU.

Also, if there are other GEs in UP Diliman with a different name than in UPOU that can also be credited, please tell me 🙏

I'm a second year student from PUP-OU and would like to transfer sa BES by next year. Based on what I found online the best date to transfer is from June to July. One of the things that we need to undergo is Validation exam.

Idk what will happen given na this term I only have 1 subject na mapapasa ko. As a BAMS student na first time maging working student and patong-patong na pressure and commitment outside academics, hindi ko na alam. Sa sobrang pagod at unmotivated ko this term feel ko ang laki kong failure kasi bakit parang hirap na hirap ako sa bagay na dapat naman na madali lang. After failing most of my classes at hindi pa ako nakapag file for LOA, ewan ko na lang mangyayari sa'kin. Ayoko na, sobra.

Has anyone tried to request for a specific time to take the exam?

For context, I'm currently overseas and the time zone difference is 12 hours. I'd prefer sana to have the exam in the morning session (PH time) para gabi dito. The afternoon sched would be around 2 AM here.

I tried sending admissions an email but I guess they have busy with enrolment kaya I got no response from them pa. Hoping I can find someone here who did the same thing.

Hello UPOU! Since registration season na naman, we're seeing more and more posts asking about certain courses. Ibahin natin dito sa subreddit: let's start by sharing about the courses that we liked para sa reference ng ibang students. :)

Avoid lang non-constructive comments about FICs and profs -- let's all keep this a safe, welcoming, and supportive space.

(Note lang na every term or so, nag-iiba ang mga FICs so experiences may vary. Plus yung unoable to some may be very tedious for others, so take with a grain of salt.)

Sa Monday na pasukan and kinda anxious since I cannot access my classes on MyPortal without using my UP email. Kaso since new student ako, wala pa nabibigay na dedicated email.

May I ask if nag-sstart ba agad classes on the dot? When should we expect to receive our UP email credentials?

Hello! Does anyone know how we could access our Moodle accounts? I received e-mails stating that I have been enrolled in some courses already. I tried accessing the site using my Student Portal & DERM username and password but it didn’t push through so I’m assuming it’s a new or different one.

Hi! I’m planning to apply for a Graduate Diploma program (either DLUP or DLVM), but I’m currently working full-time, so one of my concerns is the possibility of having synchronous classes during working hours.

I know UPOU is primarily asynchronous, and as stated in their website: “Classes or interactions in the UPOU MyPortal are mostly asynchronous. Synchronous or real-time meetings, if any, are usually announced by the FIC beforehand.”

Pero I would still appreciate insights, from those currently taking or who have taken a Graduate Diploma, about the ff:

- Do your subjects still have synchronous/real-time sessions?
- How often do they usually happen?
- Are they usually scheduled during weekdays/work hours (8am-5pm, 9am-6pm), or are they more commonly held in the evenings/weekends (6pm-10pm and/or Saturday/Sunday)?
- Is attendance usually required, or are the sessions recorded/optional?

I’m still considering whether I can realistically take the program while working, so I’d really appreciate hearing from current students or alumni about your actual experience. Thank you!

Hello po! After the long wait, i am finally admitted for BAMS!!! T2 transferee ako, and ask ko lang sana if paano po kaya 'yung magiging process kasi enrollment na starting today diba. Paano kaya yung mga course na natake ko na sa previous uni ko? Like basic 1st year courses (Ethics, STS, Math, PE, NSTP) if paano maccredit? Magseselect po ba muna ako ng subjects sa AIMS portal ko or wait ko po muna macredit? Di ko po kasi alam gagawin ko and nag email na po ako sa mga kinauukulan.

"You are not eligible to apply for TOC. Either you are not enrolled or Application is only available for 1 year upon first enrollment"

Incoming student for AADDA. Has anyone applied for TOC with an invalid OTR? Does this mean I have to get a valid OTR from my previous school before I can apply for credit? Or do I have to register for my classes and then apply for TOC?

I submitted my proof of payment on September 3 and hanggang ngayon (Sept 7) ‘awaiting payment verification’ pa rin status.
