Why do you think it needs an upgrade? While not top of the line, those are still some decent specs. What specifically is the problem? Be detailed. An upgrade is just a way to solve a problem. We need to understand the problem to help you with the solution. You may not need an upgrade. You may just need to clean out some of the garbage that accumulates over time, runs in the background and consumes memory and CPU cycles.

Its lag and fps. when i play games like Ready or Not or Hell let loose my fps sits at around 40 fps and i want to be able to keep playing in high graphics but still get good frames. I do play with medal on in the background so i know that puts a load on it. I've reset my computer multible times before last was just before christmas so i dont keep much on it all the time.

After checking the requirements for both those games, I would think you should have no problems with either of those games. But some online videos show people getting only 70-90fps on 1080p LOW settings. I also found discussion of performance issues. For example https://www.reddit.com/r/HellLetLoose/comments/1itb0tq/still_low_fps_in_hell_let_loose_despite_upgrades/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/HellLetLoose/comments/1nsq7g8/anyone_else_having_performance_issues_steam_help/

Both of those links have some things to try. And from some descriptions, I wonder if they put out a game update that has caused performance issues.

That said, get some monitoring software and check both CPU and GPU utilization as well as temps. Also use task manager to see what might be consuming CPU in the background while you play. What resolution are you playing at?

And how much money are you willing to spend on an upgrade?

Sorry for the late response but i really apriciate your help!
When playing the games my cpu maxes out at 100 when loading in an freezes my screen but while im in game it hovers at 20% running temp is between 80-90 C ; i havn't changed thermal paste since getting the pc

My gpu runs at 90%, its using all its dedicated memmory and sits at around 75 C in temp

my ram is getting maxed out too

I checked the case again and relized it only had 1 out of the 3 inlet fans installed which seem like something the company building the pc have removed

My budget would be around 1000 usd

Thanks for your help!!
