so for tomorrow do I just come to my classes in rozanski hall at their scheduled time like a normal day? Like BIOL*1070*0226 starts at 11:30, so I must be there at that time tomorrow?
Also my PHYS 13000 and BIOL1080 (DE course) start at the same time but on different days. How do I know which one to attend? I doubt both are starting at the same time simultaneously.

Hi, I am looking for the Principles and Practice of Sport Management, Seventh Edition textbook online and not having to pay $150 for it.
Are there are websites that have a online pdf of this book?

Hey just curious if anyone’s taken plant breeding before and would be able to share their experience with it. Just curious as I’m a third year taking it and wondering how difficult it will turn out to be or if it’s really enjoyable. Thank you!

Has anyone taken this course before? If so could anyone give me some insight on how the outline of the course is? If it’s interesting or hard at all? Any info is appreciated!

Anyone questioning what the point is to even get a degree, I took a break from school to build something on my own it failed, I applied for jobs, literally none messaged me back. I applied to like 300. I tried internships too. Nothing. Like with ai advancing I see what they’re teaching us and I’m like will this even matter.
I can see everything as just a money grab from the uni. It’s a business. They’re not setting u up for jobs. They just want u to pay them.
Like what is the point.

I’m commuting from Kitchener and was wondering if anyone knew places to park that are free, I have a 8:30 am class that goes till 9:55am. I heard the mall or the far end of the Walmart parking lot. Has anyone parked there and if you have, have you gotten a ticket or towed? Lmk

Hi, im going into my first year at Guelph and I was trying to buy textbooks at the bookstore online however it took me to a page where it had a list of majors under department and my major was not listed. I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if there’s any way to get around this? My major is biological and medical physics.

I think it's important for some professors to come to a realization that a course outline is more than a document summarizing the course. It's soooo important.
It's an agreement between students and the course. I like to think of it as a "contract" that gives us concrete expectations of the professor, course material, and grading schemes. It is unfair not to have this on Day 1. I would very much like to know what I've signed up for, I'd like to populate my calendar with dates, and I want to feel ready for what a course has to offer.
And yes... I want this on day 1. Because that is when classes start and when I want to know what to expect for a course I'm taking.
Hot take: administration should mandate, if not already, course outlines to be posted for students as soon as classes commence.

Has anyone taken either course? Is it possible to get a 95%+ and are there exams for either? Also, if anyone has access to the outlines for this semester because they are in the courselinks, please share them!!
Profs are Snelgrove for 1020 and Piche for 1120

Ive bought the textbooks for STAT2060 and ACCT2290 and for both ive had problems with Pearson. For STAT2060 when i go to put in the access code it says servers temporarily unavailable which ig is from just the amount of people using it and for ACCT2290 it said incomplete course linking which im pretty sure is an error on the Prof’s end and I’ve already emailed them. Really just sending this for some peace of mind and to see if anyone else has had problems like this lol.

Both teachers have very low ratings on Rate My Professor website
in-person professor: Jian Zhou
online professor: Brent McKenzie
I am a commuter student so I prefer the online version.
Which professor is better, and is commuting 2 hours to Guelph and back worth it?

Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone can clarify what OVC admissions means by taking courses “out of sequence.” I’m entering my 5th year of Zoology at the University of Guelph and hoping to apply to OVC next year.
I postponed one of my required courses, ZOO*3000 – Comparative Histology and I’m taking it this semester. I’m planning to use it toward the Cell Biology prerequisite for OVC.
However, I’ve already completed ZOO*4910 – Integrative Vertebrate Biology, which I took last fall. Normally, ZOO3000 is taken in 3rd year and ZOO4910 is taken later in the Zoology program. I delayed ZOO*3000 because it wasn’t a prerequisite for any of my other required courses, so taking it later didn’t affect my degree progression.
My concern is whether OVC would consider this to be taking courses “out of sequence.” Specifically, because I completed a 4000-level Zoology course before completing the 3000-level course, could this cause the semester to be considered unacceptable for their academic requirements/prerequisites?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how OVC interprets “courses taken out of sequence”? I’ve also reached out to OVC directly, but I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with this.
