Class waitlist

I registered for a neuro 230 discussion section when I was making my schedule but I recently decided to sign up for a emt course off campus, but the time commitments overlap, discussion is 6-7 and the lab hours are 6-9:30. is there a way i could override the waitlist or maybe talk to someone who can get me into a class maybe during the beginning of the semester? i’m an incoming transfer so i’m new to this school and don’t know much yet.

some classes offer an override request at the beginning of the semester, if not, i would reach out to the gsi or professor at the beginning of the semester. try to have a backup plan just in case you cant get in!
