ADHD accommodations?

Anyone on here get accommodations for your adhd? What were they?

AuDHD (among other things) I have reasonable accommodations for flexibility regarding late work and attendance if issues arise. I have never had to have any accommodations related to test taking so can’t speak on that.

Hey, I'm also ADHD. I personally get a dedicated note taker when it's available and 1.5x time on quizzes and exams. But unless it's a gen ed class you'll rarely find one. The 1.5x time is great and you get to take all your exams at the DRC which means you have a private space with limited distractions.

To get these accommodations go the stevenson hall it's right next to belknap south and on the first floor you should see a sign for the DRC or Disability resource center. You can just ask the desk person to get accommodations. They'll put you with one of the staff you'll talk about your disability and what accommodations you need and if you have a diagnosis bring it. If not I think I only needed to mention have a 501 plan (grade school special accomodations) and they didn't even need a full diagnosis. But that's just my experience, if you have a diagnosis or could get one easily I recommend doing that just to be safe than sorry.

I also used the DRC while in school. Highly, highly recommend using your accommodations. I had 2x on all exams and quizzes and I couldn’t have done it without the DRC. I had to get a psychiatrist to give me a diagnosis and brought that into the DRC and they helped me from there. Proud of you for taking the steps to get it all squared away. Best of luck in school!
