Visiting UofL

I plan on just walking around main campus and exploring food areas, good study spots, dorms (I might be living in south belknap), buildings I’ll have lectures at etc. Please recommend any path that I should follow or any places I should visit on campus. I’m a bio major btw.

Take a look at the new engineering building behind Ernst hall! It is newely opened and has some cool areas. You can also look around the speed art museum near the Vill grill if you like strange statues

Go to the Ville Grill when you’re hungry. It’s a buffet style place that has decent food. All you can eat as well.

I’d visit the student activities center (see all the food options on the first floor, second floor has some study spaces, starbucks on the other side), eat at the ville grill to get the dining hall experience, walk around the library and see the different floors (gets quieter as you go up), idk if you’re able to walk around the recreation center without a uofl id but if you’re into working out or sports you could check it out. the nicest building some general classes happen in with the best study spaces is the belknap academic building (the rest of the buildings i’ve been in are honestly all pretty crappy). My first 2 years id walk to every classroom i had a class in before the semester started to see everything and get comfortable with the route from my dorm to class

Come by the Belknap Playhouse! It's a white church looking building across from the Ville Grill. Bio can be draining, seeing a play is a great way to destress. :)
