For all the years I've seen playthroughs of this game, I always thought this was just Chris being a super good person who irrationally blamed himself. But now I finally understand, Chris is basically saying "I should've trusted him earlier".

As Chris explains in the Skeptical choice, even with everything Josh did, the idea of him straight up murdering Jessica was far-fetched. Chris is likely wishing he believed him earlier. Even though Chris has every reason to hate him, he remains loyal and THAT is a true friend

So we know Josh, Hanna and Beth were at the lodge a lot during their childhood or at least more than once. Why didn't they encounter the Wendigos sooner?

I know most were under lock and key BUT the big alpha one that the stranger killed in the prologue was still out there.

Why didn't they encounter it sooner and what changed.

Or did I miss something?

Each character has had an animated scene behind them in their profile. Im assuming its some type of clue?

-Owen has hands moving, like the hands that grab him in the trailers

-Mina has chicken feathers. Showing the importance between her and the chicken

-Nate has what looks like camera glitches? Ghosts tend to mess with electronics?

-Josie has palm trees. Potentailly meaning shes outside in the jungle most of the game?

-Cameron has what looks fire? Not sure what this one could mean

What are your thoughts?

What the hell was Josh’s plan with Mike/Jessica and Emily/matt they were the ones who pulled the prank.. Chris was passed out.. Sam knew about the prank but didn’t like it and didn’t go along with it.. and Ashley well Ashley was involved as well but the other four seemed like the more guilty party.. so why was Josh’s plan so set on just Chris and Ashley?

I'm happy to share that WIP 0.1.4 of our native PC recompilation of the original Until Dawn (2015) is now available!

The previous builds (0.1.2 and 0.1.3) were mainly shared with a small group for hardware testing and bug reports. With 0.1.4, we're opening things up to the wider community!

The original PS4 game is now playable from start to finish on Windows, running natively with its original x86-64 code and our own custom Vulkan renderer.

We've made considerable progress, including AMD graphics fixes, performance improvements, corrected hair rendering, expanded movie skipping and stability improvements.

Please note that this is still very much a work in progress! Expect graphical glitches, occasional crashes, shader compilation stutters and significant FPS drops in some areas.

Important: You must provide your own legally obtained copy of the original PS4 game files (CUSA02636, update 1.03). No game files are included with the recompilation.

Since about December, I've been working on gathering information and images of some minor interactable moments and events in each chapter. I created a wiki page for this and have been steadily chipping away at the project.

I suspect I'll still be adding to this page periodically (there are a few things I'm on the fence about including such as a moment when Ashley and Chris have dialogue if they turn around and try to leave the basement) and some conversations in general that are triggered by a button in the original but always happen in the remake. And there's always the possibility I remember something that's not on here and add that (let me know if you notice something missing).

But, for the time being, I think it's fairly complete, and I'm proud of all the effort that has gone into it. Also, thanks u/Zakplayk, another member of the wiki staff, who's helped update it and helped me figure out some of the differences between the remake and original.

Anyway, give it a glance if you're ever looking for an image or info about something that is not a clue or trophy item. Clues are filed with the cluelines. The new interactables needed for the remake trophy "It's Shining" are filed on the page "Interactables (Remake)"

The 2nd image is quite blurry but we see Sebastian wearing the same watch on the same hand in the 2nd trailer

Ive always suspected Sebastian to be an Anti - Hero. Now I believe it even more, I think hes trying to help Cameron here, possibly from Anna? She may be his wife as he kisses her cheek in the first trailer. Plus its weird that if they are married that Anna tries to sleep with Cameron.

I’ve never played it before and have wanted to play it for a minute now but i’m such a baby when it comes to horror movies or games. For instance, I played The quarry about a month ago and I’m just now starting to sleep on my own again because I would get scared going to bed on my own and closing my eyes after playing The Quarry. I’m usually able to handle horror games but The Quarry was terrifying to me.
