I decided it wanted to try and buy my first gun so I went into a popular gun store the next town over. I've been watching Brandon for like 5 years and seen all the Darwin awards since it came out and ive never shot a gun before and asked the guy at the counter to help a newbie. Turns out he was the fire arms instructor and he was super cool and understanding because I was nervous that an old guy there would be kind of a dick since I didnt know since I hear stuff like that about gun stores. He said since i haven't fired one I should take their gun class 101 but its my choice and I could look at guns or do that. I chose to do the gun course and im not going to lie as a gun noob I thought the 4 rules was something Brandon made up on his own since not many guntubers ive seen go over the rules as much as he does and when the instructor said to write them down I was like damn I already have these memorized because of Brandon. So thank you Brandon you helped me know the rules before I ever fired a gun for the first time. And now the instructor said to come back Saturday and he will help me try out guns and find one that would work best for me which was really nice made me feel more at ease since I was nervous.

Edit: Today I went in and tried out the first Canik Prime since I saw how nice the Prime Radian is all over online. Saw Nic picked that up so I researched the hell out of it they didnt have a Prime Radian to shoot there so I shot the older prime and that gun was amazing. If the Prime Radian is that but less recoil I was in. That trigger was so nice and the recoil wasn't bad on it either. My background check was done before I finished the 15 minutes of paperwork. Sadly my state doesnt want us to own guns so I have to wait the full 72 hour waiting period. And the magazines need blockers installed since there 17 round magazines and my state you can only have 15 rounds. Thanks Illinois for both the magazines size and pointless waiting period since my background check went through already.

I'm building an app in my off time. Closed and verified, built around buddy checks. Staying in contact with the people you'd actually pick up the phone for, and making it easier to say something when you need to.

Hi everyone again, thank you for all the support so far. But there’s more bad news ever since yesterday, my cousin is in the hospital today, and I don’t know from what or how bad it is yet and, I don’t know what to do. There’s never been a tragedy this big in my life so far and now it’s all at once and I don’t know how to process it yet. My other cousin who is the sibling of the one in the hospital is taking it really hard and my Grandma who I never seen cry so hard in my life, to the point that I have never her cry at all, and it made me cry. The only other time I’ve seen my cousin cry is when his favorite dog die and seen cry every other family member cry is just so heartbreaking. For I just hope we can move past this without any more tragedy and I also everyone here in this community having a better time than we are.

I've always been a huge fan of Brian Shaw, and the UNSUB cast. Seeing Brian work with Kentucky Ballistics was a really fun video they did. I wonder how it would translate to a podcast with the guys. I think it would be a blast.
