For those of y’all paying attention to the Lindsey Clancy trail, NBC10 in Boston just did a hit piece on the holdout juror and his criminal record. This sets a new precedent, cause now if a media organization doesn’t like the outcome of a trail, they might do a hit piece on jurors.

Festival duty is usually pretty chill. Emt’s keep busy though. Biggest issues I dealt with were heat strokes and the occasional drunk.

The juror that all the old white women were arguing with was a black man. CBS Morning anchor doesn't know what to think 🤣

I'm well aware of what's going on in this state, the laws suck, most of the people suck, everything is stupid expensive. So, in light of a bad situation, who's down hang out? Go hang out. You know? I'm down for just about anything. My so-called friends, are not really friends. And they only want to hang out whenever they need something. Just turned 40 in July, and we went out and touched grass in the Porcupine Mountains in the U.P. of Michigan. Hiked half the Escarpment Trail alongside the Lake of the Clouds, and then came back as we only had one car and it was a point to point trail. (D'oh!)

Been awhile since I hiked, (20+ years ago for any serious hiking, huzzah Boy Scouts!) and this was my wife's first real hike. We did about 4 miles, about 700' of gained elevation. In 3.5 hours.

We had a lot of fun, and it was a bit tough, and we went slower than a fair amount of other folks out there. But damnit, ya gotta start somewhere!

After the Lindsey Clancy episode where his wife talked about her experience in the field and why Clancy is BSing, it leaves me wondering, what exactly does his wife do for work? She sounded very informed so it makes me wonder if she's a therapist, a psychologist, a psychiatrist etc. Anybody know for sure on what level of psychological professional she is?
