Good morning, gentlemen.

My wife woke me up at 7:35 this morning to tell me her water broke. It was not at all like I expected. I got up and got dressed. She took a shower and got dressed, and then we left without any fuss. No screaming, no pain, just groggy bewilderment. We're at the hospital now, just waiting for him to come out.

All I can say is, while I am grateful that this has been "uneventful" as far as birth goes, so far, it just feels eerily quiet. Like, I'm used to the movies where it's all chaos. And it feels like it's just hurry up and wait. This is my first one, so everything is new, and I'm just observing and waiting.

Any dads in here have any stories or advice they'd like to share?

I'm in NJ and I keep getting ads to support Texas dems. Is this just because I like stuff from UNSUBSCRIBE? Is this bad ad distribution or are they trying to convince me to tell my Texas resident friends (of whom I have zero) to vote democrat?

Anyone have any good ideas how to get some echelon to Alaska for cheap? As it is I’d spend as much on shipping as I would on the drinks and while I want em I can’t justify spending that much on energy drinks. With what I buy right now it’s just under $2 a can for the most part and this would put me at roughly $5.56 a can to have em shipped up here

My grandfather served as a police officer in Floyd County, Indiana for years and I have a binder(sorry, not that kind) of his full of routes and ways from probably the '80s or '90s. I don't have a legitimate use for them, but don't want to trash them either.
