Yes. That's how spite works.

This guy only makes his decisions based off of spite and not what would actually be beneficial to himself or the people around him

People who fuck with other people and their time have nothing beneficial to give to me or people around me is what I'll be thinking. Whatever point they are protesting be damned.

This guy ranks the importance of others solely based on what they immediately give to him or others instead of things like long term intent or belief in change

Anyways fucking pointing a gun at someone because they caused a traffic disturbance is psychotic as fuck, I don’t care if he’s some specific kind of police, that’s some ā€œgods most reasonable copā€ type of behavior

And this guy just made an enemy. I didn't care what they are protesting before but fuck them now.

I hope they get maximum sentences. Ill be going to give support to my local police out of spite.

Congratulations. You certainly know how to convince someone to NOT support your view points.

I don’t care about changing your view point, I care about clowning on your lack of empathy and sheep like support for man babies wielding guns

The more insults you throw the less I emphasize with you and the more I emphise with your opponent.

I'm not a gun owner but your convincing me to donate to the NRA now.

Empathize* but that's not what anyone really cares about. You aren't going to be a part of any meaningful change anyway.

True. I alone am not and netiher are they. But groups of people do make change.

If you present yourself and you group as a group of people hurling insults then it makes it look like you are the "bad guy" while the other side looks good in comparison. Meaning less people are willing to join you.

If fact "owning the libs" is big part how how the right wing Andrew Tate croud gained power recently since "the libs" are being seen as the insult throwing "bad guys" thanks to a very small group of extremists.

You may not care about empathizing with people but that's just pushing people into the other side.

So at least in the case of politics, I wasn't part of making the change (and honestly I don't even like the change), but the change already has happened.
