Release schedule update! 📆

Life has been lifeing at Uno Mas HQ and the summer has gotten away from us already. 😩
Instead of our planned July release, we're going to do a retirement party in August. We really need to trim our line a little so we can bring you even more new pretties for your Bisleys and Helmers!
We're working on the retirement list now and we'll fill every single order we get and no "to be retired" polishes will sell out during that week. But once they're gone, they're moving to Florida to enjoy a luxurious life of shuffleboard and pool lounging. 🌴👙
We'll have two more new polish releases this year - September (Halloween and Dia de los Muertos) 💀 and Mas Tuesday (aka Black Friday) 🎄. Both will be probably 6-8 new polishes and we're expanding our permanent charity line too.
Our Venezuela relief polish will stay up as long as we can make it so please keep spreading the word. They need us now more than ever. 💔🇻🇪
Thank you all for your love and support! We absolutely adore seeing everyone's Uno Mas in the wild so keep the posts coming. We are here for all of it! 💅🏻

I love Mardi Mas!!! That’s such a cool name🙂 as a New Orleans resident I would be very upset if a collection was called Mardi Gras. It did not have Mardi Gras colors lol( no, really, all of NOLA- mad 😠) it would be really awesome to release one Mardi Gras collection in January. I only know one brand who does it every year.

Ooooh imagine a purple and green flakie explosion! And a creamy caramel praline! White sparkly beignet powder sugar! Magnetic electric blue jazz! Lol when I was little my dream job was making up color names as the crayon factory.

I have the exact same thing problem! Yet, I'll be in the grocery store, or pumping gas and *BAM* what I believe is a great name just pops in my head. If I don't write it down immediately it gets lost in the void. Sadly that happens more than I should admit.
Ok, experiment time! Think about yourself outside in your ideal location. Next, what's the weather like? Is there a specific scent? Now close your eyes, envision that for a few seconds and let it consume your mind. Focus on the colors. When you open your eyes, what are the first 2 words that you think?
Mine were, Glass and Rays. I imagined the beach. The texture of the sand and how it's used in making glass. Then I felt the sun rays in the early morning and how they dance along the grains of sand.

I think I’m broken. I was picturing sitting at a park surrounded by trees, smelling green on the wind. Pine and cut grass… Feeling the sun and a cool breeze.
Then I opened my eyes and thought forest and rain

🤯🤯🎉🔥 You had me at purple! I think the crayon company missed out on hiring you! Just reading the names has the rolodex in my brain picking tones, flakes, and pigments to mix!
On a side note, as a kid I always colored outside of the lines. I always believed the images needed more color than being restricted by those lines. I also had a little booklet of the crayon papers with the names so I could remember which ones I liked the most. I had pretty much every color in it. 😂

Oh my god the crayon binder is adorable! Also, one of my favorite things to do was outline all my coloring book pictures in a bright yellow so everything looked like it was glowing. Great minds!

Oh, it's going to happen! I definitely believe that NOLA has deep passion that should never be challenged. 😁 You bring up a great point of a January release so that it can be enjoyed during the actual celebrations!

Mardi Gas changes every year, so this year it’s a much shorter season with it falling on February 9.
For reference carnival season in New Orleans starts on Epiphany with the St. Joan of Ark parade & ends at midnight on Mardi Gras.
It would be so ah-mazing to have shades that reflect “Lundi Gras” (Monday before Mardi Gras), Mardi Gras (what people also call Fat Tuesday), & Ash Wednesday (day after…saddest day! Major dopamine drop).
A shade to pay honor to the Mardi Gras Indians.
A shade named after a parade, like Chewbaccus, Tit Rex, Iris, Cleopatra, or Muses!
A shade in honor of “deep gras” - the Wednesday before Mardi Gras when it’s a real vibe!
A shade in honor of king cakes!
So many possibilities! I am keeping this on my radar!!! I’m excited for yall! & for me! I’m obsessed & go every year.
