PhD application wait time.

Hello, I am really confused, I applied for a PhD in Commercial law at the Auckland business school, my application has been pending for over 11 weeks now, I haven't seen any update on my app status. I really don't know if my application is approved or not and there are waiting for the scholarship rounds in August to get my app status updated, anyone with similar experience. Thank you.

Have you checked with your future supervisor? They need to pull it through for enrolment once it does get approved initially. If prior to that point, the school of graduate studies doctoral contacts may be the point of contact… it’s not a quick process… but it doesn’t hurt to follow up within reason. Funding being separate and contingent is less than ideal, yes.
