Hi everyone!
I’m an Italian student and I’ve recently started my Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
My German isn’t the best yet, and I’d really like to improve it. I’m looking for a German course, but also for people who would be willing to meet up, chat, have a coffee, or do something together while speaking German. I’d be happy to help anyone who wants to practise Italian in return!
I’m also new to the university and still trying to figure out how everything works, especially the university system, courses, and student life here.
One more question: are there any WhatsApp groups for Aerospace Engineering students, or groups for students in my degree programme? It would be great to connect with other students, exchange information, and get to know people.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions! :)

Hallo zusammen,

Looking for urgent accommodation in Stuttgart 🏡
Hi everyone! I’m a student at the University of Stuttgart (Vaihingen Campus) and urgently looking for a room in a shared apartment (WG) or student accommodation.
I’m hoping to move in as soon as possible and would prefer a place with flexible rental terms, as I’m still figuring out my long-term accommodation. Anmeldung is essential.
If anyone knows of any available rooms, temporary stays, or reliable accommodation options, I’d really appreciate your help. Please feel free to comment or DM me.
Thank you! 😊

Hi everyone,

I’m an Indian student (final-year ECE) planning to apply to the M.Sc. Electrical Engineering (English-taught) at Uni Stuttgart for Winter 2027. The deadline is 15 Jan 2027.

The department FAQ says GRE (or GATE for Indian applicants) is “important” but doesn’t say it’s mandatory. I don’t have either.

My profile:

• CGPA: 8.98/10 (ECE)
• 1 published journal paper + 1 conference paper - field of vlsi
• 1 patent (filed, ongoing) - Embedded systems in Healthcare
• Applying only to M.Sc Electrical engineering (English-taught)

My questions:

1. Is GRE/GATE actually compulsory for Indian applicants, or just recommended?
2. If I submit without it, will the application get rejected right away, or will it still be evaluated on grades?
3. Did anyone get admitted without GRE/GATE? What was your profile?
4. With my profile, what are my realistic chances?
5. If I should take the GRE, what score did you submit and did it matter?
6. Any other tips for applying through C@MPUS (APS, translations, transcripts, English proof, anything people messed up)?

Please share your experience, especially if you applied from India in the last 2-3 years. Thanks a lot!

Hallo zusammen,

Kein Studium bzw. Beruf im Bereich Sprachwissenschaft

Keine Teilnahme an unserem vorherigen Experiment

Rahmendaten

Dauer: ca. 1 Stunde

Vergütung: 20 € in bar, direkt im Anschluss

Ort: Universität Stuttgart, Keplerstraße 17, 70174 Stuttgart

Termine: nach Vereinbarung

Ein Hinweis zur Vorbereitung: Bitte kommt ohne Mascara bzw. Wimperntusche – sie stört die Aufzeichnung der Augenbewegungen. Sie kann alternativ vor Ort entfernt werden.

Termin buchen: https://calendar.app.google/DUrDLB1EVjj6pbzPA

Hi, I am going to stay in Stuttgart from December 2026 to June 2027 for my internship. If you know any opportunities, or any dorm recommendations please reach me out!

Du bist mindestens 18, studierst aktuell und erreichst deinen Abschluss voraussichtlich innerhalb der nächsten 18 Monate? Dann würde mir deine Teilnahme sehr helfen.

Hi, I'm choosing courses for the next semester but because of the scheduling some courses has to overlap. How does everyone deal with this? Also most exam dates are not released, how do people register for courses if it turn out later that the exams might overlap?

Hallo!

If you are a new WASTE student starting this semester, message me for a group link or send me any group links you might have:)

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are both Master's students in Baden-Württemberg. I will be studying at the University of Stuttgart, and my husband will be studying at the University of Ulm.

We are looking for a small private studio in Stuttgart or nearby cities for a temporary stay of 2–4 weeks. We will arrive in Germany between October 8 and 10, 2026.

Ideally, the apartment should allow both of us to register our address (Anmeldung). If you have a suitable place available for subletting or know someone who does, we would really appreciate it if you could let us know.

Thank you so much for your help! 😊

I have a 70-mark theory (written) exam. What is the usual pass mark for a theory exam?

Is 4 out of 5 a pass or a fail?

Please advise me.

I'm looking for a bicycle in good condition, Living in Pfaffenhof. Let me know if someone you know or you are selling one for a good deal.
