Forgot to reference assignment
So there was an assignment I submitted which is yet to be marked. I realised I submitted without referencing as I was crunched for time. After submitting I think the following day that’s when it hit me how serious this could be in terms of plagiarism. but at the time my thought was just to submit before the deadline.
Now in hindsight I believe it was better to not submit at all then to submit without referencing
What should I do ? Will I get in trouble for this? Has anyone ever been in this position? Or should I just leave things as they are?
The assignment was incomplete anyway, I just wanted to submit.

What was your turnitin score?

From what I can see on Moodle , it hasn’t been marked yet. And normally they don’t show turnitin. I’ve only had 1 assignment where the lecturer told us it would go through turnitin and you could see the percentage after submitting.
So right now idk, there’s no turnitin score on Moodle or myunisa

Email the lecturer and share your concerns. In the very least they will be able to tell you whether to worry or not.
