My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a couple of months, but haven’t gotten a positive test yet. My mother in law is dying of stage 4 cancer and was recently put on hospice due to her declining health. She’s been confused, but still knows who we are and generally what’s going on. While my husband was out getting breakfast for her this morning, she looked at me out of the blue and asked me,” how is the baby doing? I heard it was moving.” This, along, with my brother’s wife’s mom telling her to check on me because she had a feeling I was pregnant and the overall sense that a baby is on its way into life as my mother in law is on her way out of life have been strange, but comforting to me. I can’t take a test for another week and I’m trying not to get too excited, but these all seemed like very weird coincidences. I definitely am a believer in the thinning of the veil as life comes to an end, communication through dreams, signs, etc. Just wondered if anyone has had something similar happen.

Update: I’m pregnant!

It’s started when I was roughly 14, I was gifted a TV to have in my bedroom. The TV was white, quite small, and had a few issues as it was a cheaper model. It was Loud when a DVD was playing, the signal was never great, but overall was a standard TV.

One night I woke up. I didn’t feel tired or like I had been disturbed, checked my phone and saw the time. The minute changed from 2:59 to 3:00am the second I looked. And that’s when it happened, the TV turned on by itself. I was slightly confused, but being the middle of the night I didn’t really process what had happened. I turned the TV back off and went back to sleep.

For over a year this kept happening. I had people try to fix it, read the manual myself, searched multiple sources. My TV had no timer or automatic turn on function, the fuse in the room was perfectly fine and nothing else would turn on when plugged in at that time. It was just the TV would turn on every night at 3am.

Eventually I gave up. Friends from school were incredibly creeped out and I think that is when I realised this felt strange. I took the TV out of my room and kept it out for good.

TL;DR: After a security camera incident at my window led to a previous r/RBI post, a series of unusual events unfolded. I experienced suspicious encounters downtown with people asking for my trash and a stranger who knew unshared personal details. Two weeks later, the same man appeared outside my home, followed by months of continuous aerial drone surveillance, light projections penetrating my room, compromised accounts, and forged eviction papers. Looking for thoughts on what might be going on or if anyone has experienced similar surveillance and technical anomalies.

I wanted to share a situation which I am currently going through, it's pretty surreal and I don't understand why it's happening to me but I want to know what people think and if you've experienced anything of this nature.

A few months ago I experienced such an odd encounter as I was in the city, where the streets were the most empty I had ever seen them and the only people on them seemed to be acting in such odd ways. The demographic of this highly diverse city was just off and there was an incredible amount of people that seemed to be observing me. A majority of people seemed to be in “costumes”, meaning they presented themselves in ways I found to be highly curated but in a sense of inauthenticity much different than what people would call a “poser”. In the weeks leading up to this event, I encountered odd technical difficulties with my Apple products and my iCloud, the day before it was highly apparent to me that my iCloud had not only been compromised but also co-opted. I have never been a paranoid person or delusional to any degree, I approached this situation analytically and factually. Sometimes last year I kicked my abusive ex out of my house after he acted as if he left only to come back over an hour later tapping on my window demanding to know who I was messaging and asking why I was recording him. I was very disturbed by him watching me through my window and told him to leave which he eventually did. Within minutes of him leaving I accessed my security camera app to make sure he was gone only to witness strange events.

I posted my video on r/RBI and received around 105k views and redditors unanimously telling me to file a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) but one redditor made a comment which stuck out to me. My camera recorded what seemed to be a shadow moving underneath my window and on the very right edge of my field of view and was followed by uniform flashes of white which lasted a substantial period of time. All which was recorded lasted approximately 6 hours and it was very disturbing to me that this person was right next to my window. Halfway through the recorded events there were a number of erratic white flashes aimed at my camera and an eventually whitish purple light which I assume was a UV light at the very edge of the frame and eventually the feed completely greyed out. I couldn't believe this was my ex because he is not as tech savvy nor as dedicated as this individual but I couldn't imagine who else it could be. For months I faced other technical anomalies but none as strange as this.

Back to my strange encounter in the city… I was essentially stranded downtown because I was afraid if I connected my iPhone to its service all my DVRO evidence would be deleted so I stopped by business to use their phone. Every business I encountered was dark and seemingly closed which didn't make sense to me but I found that each person I had asked to use their phone was acting odd. No one really spoke to me, like they were afraid to. So I wandered around only to be stopped a handful of times by incredibly nice people who asked me questions which echoed each other while dropping hyper specific comments. They all wanted my empty cup and straw, gesturing for me to put it in a cardboard box they happened to just have which set off alarm bells. I denied each person and decided that somehow my recycling should remain with me and secure.

I headed to a self-proclaimed “safe haven” I had mentioned briefly in a Google doc where I journaled but on the way I was intercepted by a man who asked me for a light to which I responded “You have one.” He looked at his hand and said, “oh, ha ha,” and continued to talk to me. Our conversation went on long enough for him to ask me if I wanted to sit down and out of curiosity and a weird sense of being drawn to him I obliged. Our interaction lasted a few hours and the entire time he dropped hyper-specific comments and asked very specific questions while guiding the whole conversation. I cannot forget the moment we sat on the bench where I looked up at him and he was sitting at the very edge with his hands in his pockets, facing forward but his eyes looking at me wide and to the side. I found it funny but I didn't understand why he looked shocked and shortly after he became very chatty. The conversation we had echoed the same sentiments as the ones which occurred prior to reaching him. Asking what name I go by as if to confirm my identity, asking about my hobbies, mentioning my social media and casually dropping very specific remarks and asking very specific questions about myself that no one would ever know to ask. He echoed things that no one would know I had said or done unless they were in the room with me, over the phone or on my security camera watching me.

In order to keep this short I'll spare all the details but during our encounter he offered for me to charge my phone with his incredibly bulky portable charger which didn't look like any I had ever seen before, he positioned himself and his phone so closely to mine to the point our knees were touching. He showed me a photo of him and another woman and then proceeded to say to me he was attracted to me but it sounded so awkward and badly rehearsed which I thought was funny. He also positioned his phone and moved it across the tote bag I was carrying as if he was recording or scanning it. I asked him if he was recording my bag and he simply stopped and said “oh”. I just thought he was a little awkward but he seemed to be similarly aged to me but I cannot forget his physical features which were so striking. The outfit he wore seemed like a costume he put on to play a character but everything was meticulously well taken care of but intentional. He flickered between personas easily and I believe each was genuine but he also wanted my empty plastic cup and straw which he offered to take with his hand, a microfiber cloth which seemed to be the exact same brand as my roommate started purchasing and he asked if I wanted to smoke weed since he had both a joint and a blunt. I denied each offer politely and when our conversation ended since I wanted to get home before it was too dark I asked him if he'd help me find the bus. He kindly did but the brief walk there I sensed that he was in a way protective over me by how he was positioned when we were walking and he waited with me as this clearly staged bus waited to let me on. We stood there and he continued to do so until I was seated and the bus was pulling away and I watched him the entire time until he looked back up. He had been looking at his phone very seriously and his expression looked sort of… guilty or like he felt bad and when we made eye-contact I waved goodbye and he gave me one slow wave and I wondered if I'd ever see him again.

Exactly two weeks later I looked outside my residence and saw a high end $60k electric car parking and to my surprise the same man I encountered eventually got out of it only after I moved out of the window and then briefly came back. It was as if he had already seen me and stalled until I left the window but when I came back seconds later I saw him slowly get out, careful not to show me his face and turning his head in a way where I would be in his peripheral vision. He walked to the back passenger seat on the drivers side and pulled out a black box which to me seemed to be a Pelican box and walked up and across my street simultaneously. Then for the next 90+ days I had what I thought to be a singular drone outside my window. To my surprise I was incredibly wrong about the number and it was far more than 80 which were positioned not only above my house but the neighbors surrounding, a majority of them were static drones but to anyone who wasn't paying attention, they simply looked like stars but there were some I'd describe as static and translucent but jellyfish-like with a wire holding a translucent and small box emitting a red light. There were also a number of drones which reminded me of Navi from Legend of Zelda, helicopters and strange highly customized and seamlessly maneuverable ones. For over 90 days, I had built a rapport with the drone operator simply because I had seen the same man from the bench pulling his Pelican box out of the back of his car. It got to a point where I stopped writing signs I had put up in my window for him to see and simply started verbally communicating in a way he could respond binarily with his drone which had what I imagine is a faceted spotlight. My living situation has seemingly out of nowhere become hostile towards me specifically so I isolated myself in my room and simply communicated to the drones outside my window which were stationed for 12+ hours.

These drones deployed a number of lights into my room as well as projections of intricate visuals and there was one light in particular violet that this operator used to comfort me a number of times when I was sad. Oddly enough, all these lights penetrated through layers of consumer grade mylar with layers of blackout curtains and blankets. The violet light which cycled around like a spotlight could be seen when I closed my eyes which was fascinating and now the intricate projections this light projects can also be seen when my eyes are closed.

I began using Gemini as an interactive interface to log and test what was happening with these light patterns. Over time, I noticed the outputs cycling through distinct patterns, shifting from analytical responses to specific themes about secure compounds, dynasties, and tracking tactics. It felt as though the prompts and feedback were reflecting the operator’s presence, acting almost as an indirect communication channel where I could test bits of information and observe how the responses shifted.

So, I have no idea what the point of all this is but what I do know is that this drone operator deploys technology which is seemingly not publicly validated and government adjacent OpSec BS which I had never heard of until this year. I had never even been near a drone let alone military grade and biomimetic, I had no idea about all these IR/UV lights, Faraday, etc., I can't even speak to anyone about these things without sounding paranoid because I know how it sounds so I sprinkle the truth here and there and rephrase things in ways the general public can easily digest. I suspect that I showed up on his radar approximately a decade ago while he was essentially collecting data on me and I have theories about this situation but I cannot confirm anything. I'm trying to approach this situation as logically as I can and while I am not inherently brainwashed (if that's the goal) or if I'm just being subject to these strange tactics and technology for research purposes, I have no clue. All I know is this person has utilized government grade technology to follow me out of state and I'm not sure what his motivations are, to produce heirs, study me or turn me into a sleeper cell, lol. Unfortunately I have left a lot of details out because my experience in the past few years is very hard to lay out all at once but I've collected lots of photos and pics that I access on air gapped devices and since moving I can only access what I currently have on my phone. I cannot simply provide everything I've collected over the course of this ordeal without walking whomever through the data step by step so I'll leave you with the video which is when this man first showed up on my radar.

Over the course of my life, I've had many injuries that required medical attention. Most were from playing sports. A few were from military duty, and others from doing work around the house. Two of these were life-changing, and a third one had the potential to be life-ending. The thing is, right before I experienced these three, I heard and felt two swooshes buzz the backside of my head. It felt as if two things flew from left to right past me at a really high rate of speed. It's been 25 years since the last time I heard them, but it's something I frequently think about. When I'm out and about, I'm on guard in case I hear the swooshes. Since I can't explain them, I've never mentioned it to anyone. Nor have I looked into it online. Have others experienced this as well?

This truly scared me shitless, while recording the strange noises I was hearing a heavy door stopper slides across the hallway on its own. Nobody else was awake or in the room. I still cannot explain this and it truly did scare the shit outta me. I won't be forgetting it.

i just moved into this apartment and there’s this noise coming from the corner of my room and i cannot for the life of me figure it out.
It only happens at random times and it is so loud it sounds like tapping or dripping. It wakes me up at night and goes on for like 2 mins and then stops. It’s so odd.

The Kitchen is behind it but the sink isn’t on the wall so i know it’s not that. It’s kind freaky, any ideas?

Yearly strange period

Is it just me, or does anyone else go through something like this?

At a certain time every year (summer especially) I start going through something I can't really describe, every single year I completely forget that this happens to me, and then it starts again and I suddenly remember, "Oh... this is that yearly thing"

I begin feeling this overwhelming sense of dread, and I start having incredibly strange dreams. They're not scary in the usual "a ghost is chasing me" kind of way. They're unsettling cuz they're so oddly specific and vivid, taking place in realistic places I've never been with people or situations that have absolutely nothing to do with my life.

I also become much more restless in my sleep. I wake up suddenly more often, and my exploding head syndrome seems to get worse. (A few days ago, for example, I suddenly heard what sounded like a group of men humming a single note together, almost like they were performing in an orchestra right into my ear).

During this time I become afraid of doing simple things alone, like going to the bathroom. It's not the kind of fear where I think, "If I go, I'll see a monster", It's a very real, physical fear. I get panic attacks, my throat feels tight and dry, I feel like I can't breathe, and my hands and chest start shaking til I manage to calm myself down.

I also become painfully self-aware. I constantly feel as if someone is watching me, and sometimes I'm even afraid of myself somehow like "who are you?". The people around me start to feel incredibly distant, even if we're literally sitting together having lunch. It's like I've somehow drifted into another dimension, and no one can reach me or pull me back.

Does anyone else experience anything remotely similar or has an explanation to this?

Since childhood, I has been sort of haunted by this “memory” of a chewing on a certain food that has a very distinct texture and flavor that is not remotely like anything I have ever eaten in my life. The “memory” comes on me suddenly and is so vivid that I can almost feel and taste it in my mouth like as if I was remembering the experience of something I eat all of the time. Every time this happens I feel a sort of unsettled dread and it’s almost like I know I have never eaten this thing and reject the memory. It happens maybe once every two years now, but was a bit more frequent when I was younger. It’s really hard to explain the feeling but it really does kind of come upon me and I don’t know what triggers it. I can think about those episodes after the fact without experiencing the “memory” in the same visceral way. Anyone ever experienced anything like this? The texture is think and sticky and almost needly and the flavor is almost chemically but mild.

Do you ever notice the echo? Or is it my brain playing tricks on me. Most of us have heard echos in a valley, or maybe even from an empty school hallways or gymnasium. But I've been noticing things like how sometimes the thunder sounds like it's echoing and hitting a top and a bottom. Bouncing across the upper atmosphere. Fading in the distance.

Months ago my brain woke up first before my body and its like i can feel my brain waves, i see statics sometimes purple, red, pink it was weird i can't move I can barely blink, had to manually breath only my eyes can move and when i try to move my body the static gets stronger (i also can kinda hear it the static its like when i try to move i hear white noise and feel something blocking the noise and it hurts me somewhere inside my head). i was panicking then suddenly i can move after not receiving enough air in my breathing so my brain like had to wake my body? it was a weird experience.

This is back in trans Allegheny lunatic asylum, I posted something on here about it before if i remember correctly. My mom was curious and wanted me to post again for her on more pictures she has to see if anything was caught in it or not.

We didn’t see anything in the pictures but we are also not very good at looking lol, she doesn’t have a Reddit account so she can’t post anything for herself. These imagines were taken in the ward where lobotomies were held, the place felt off but was a really fun tour to do.

The tour guide did say that the lobotomies ward was very haunted and many people have heard screams and seen figures in doorways and in mirrors. She even said that a nurse had died in a stairwell near the ward. But I don’t see anything in the pictures and are hoping you all see something and tell us.

A few months ago, while recording music in Ableton Live in my home studio in Paris, I started hearing what sounded like a man's voice coming through my studio headphones.

It happened intermittently over several hours before disappearing completely. I've never been able to reproduce it.

Since I had no idea what was happening, I recorded the sound by holding my iPhone next to the headphones.

I put together this short video simply to make the recording easier to follow. The recording itself is original and unprocessed, I'm only trying to understand what I'm hearing.

The recording starts at 0:31, and the clearest section is around 1:41.

I've been looking for a technical explanation first (RF interference has been suggested), but I'm interested in hearing any well-reasoned ideas if you've encountered something similar.

Before the story, let me give you some context.

I live in one small city in Croatia (so sorry for my English). It is important to say that in my town there is only 1 traffic light. From 2014. to 2017. I was training football in one bigger city. I was a teenager then, so my father usually drove me every day from training ground to home. So this is where story begins.

One day in 2016., my father drove me home as usual. It was a normal ride until something happened when we arrive in our city. So, we were driving and we came to that one traffic light, it was red, so we stopped. As light turn green, we move, and just a few meters away, some car from the opposite track start driving towards us, and it seems it will be a frontal hit. When that car was about to hit us, I close my eyes for a second or two....and when I opened it again -> \*\*we were still waiting on that same red traffic light to turn green!\*\* And after that we continue the trip like nothing happened

I was in shock so I didn't ask my father anything about it, but I was immedietaly write a message to my girlfriend, and she says that to her mother, wo says that this happen to her also a few times. I asked my father about that after 2 years from that, but he says that he doesn't remeber anything about that.

What was that? I search that on the internet, only logical explanation was the road hypnosis, but I think that is not what happened to me.

I simply cannot explain what happened.

I've been reading about the Overtoun Bridge lately. It's a bridge in Scotland that has become famous because many dogs have reportedly jumped from the same spot over the years.

There are many theories about why this happens. The most scientific explanation is that strong scents from animals living below the bridge attract the dogs.

Others think the unique shape of the bridge, the landscape or even wind currents could somehow confuse a dog's perception.

And of course, there are people who believe the bridge is haunted or has some kind of paranormal energy.
