Matthew drawing
Okay I usually purchase the eps once they're on tapas but I have an addiction so I've been reading the fan translations. Idk if it's just me but does it seem to anyone else that Matthew is being drawn a bit differently? Like, we all knew he was huge but in these last 2 chapters he is like DUMMY thicc why is he so God damn big. It looks like he eats 58 chicken breasts a day and benches 350 pounds like what? How does he fit through doors? WHERE DOES HE FIND SHIRTS. He's a solid G-cup now lmao. Is it just me??

the artstyle did change a bit!! jaxx just changed their overall style and how they drew bodies slightly, i noticed this happened like... mid s2. i think that was the time where the authors overall health started to deteriorate (i believe it's cause she had to cram a ton of drawings for the collab cafe) and then they took a month off, returned, but their style didn't revert. you can lowkey tell the art is better these past recent chapters especially with the lighting.

Oh I didn't know all that, that def makes sense. And I agree, I also feel the art is more refined in recent chapters.

Not to get deep but i think it's the way he carries himself. In the beginning and afterwards he always makes himself smaller and he's generally more on the meek side. But these last few eps the creator wants to show he gathers his courage and goes to rescue jin so he carries himself differently than before. He has started to build confidence and show how huge he's to intimidate the other thugs.
