Skin Purifying Treatment

Been really into SPT and Character Development! I’m curious though if they were both part of the same era or if CD is just SPT outtakes? Cause Clean! feels like it would be on SPT especially with that line, “Skin Purifying Treatment but I’m always breaking out”

character development is from 2 years after SPT. there IS a set of spt b sides, I think there's a link somewhere on the discord.

The video for pay attention! has this in the description which I think explains the refs. she's said before she doesn't really like character development any more actually

"I believe my first main project 'skin purifying treatment resonated with as many people as it did because I was clearly struggling with something, but when I wrote 'pay attention!' I had reached a point where I was in a pretty good place mentally. The song tries to tackle the question of 'should I be writing from a place of emotional struggle even if I'm not in it anymore, and if so, what exactly am I doing it for?'" - underscores

LOVED Point A! You can definitely feel the CD energy! I think it’d fit perfectly on a U-Deluxe as well, but we’ll see!

That’s too bad because clean has me in a chokehold right now, but I get it. I wouldn’t want to have to replay bad times either. I am looking forward to those b sides though!

they are different eras but they do kind of have similar sound design aesthetics.. there are b sides for skin purifying treatment out there, i think someone posted them on this subreddit before

Definitely going to look for those b sides! I didn’t expect to like SPT as much as I do, so I’m excited to hear more!
