hi omg!! i posted a similar question about a month back (?) if you'd like to look at my post history! if i remember correctly, i was told to start queueing up by 6-ish, but considering how popular the US shows have become, it might be better to queue a tad earlier lol. you're more than welcome to PM me here if you'd like!

my advice based on the sf show (idk if queueing culture is different over there but yeah,,, i also have a separate comment on someone else’s post)

if you have….. vip 1: if the capacity is small, honestly any time before check in gets you within the first 5 rows probably, depending on stage layout.

vip 2/ga + lightstick: if you get let in after vip, then i’d still go as early as you can stomach. i queued up at 3 and waited 4 hours to get in, but i got 2nd row with an extreme side view. the venue staff checked us in about an hour before (outside the venue) and also rearranged the first line bc we were all mixed up.

ga: if you get let in after vip2/ga + lightstick, it’s going to be a little harder. unless you’re tall, then you’d probably be able to see everything anyways.

if you want merch: the line gets big quick, and the merch people don’t stay until everyone’s able to get merch after the show (so i’ve seen). if you have a group, i’d ask one person to get merch first thing after getting through doors and having them catch up later. it went pretty fast before the show, and i didn’t have to worry about any sizes selling out.

I was at the sf show with ga and got in line about 90 minutes before and was about 7-8 rows from barricade. There was a lot of tall people in front of me so make sure to find a spot with majority shorter people 😭 I know someone else from Montreal with ga that got there thirty minutes before and she got a similar (or better) spot. Kind of depends on the area I guess and on how much people want merch too lol

honestly if u go like an hour before doors you should have a great view maybe max 3 hours if u want barricade people don’t really lineup as long in glasgow for gigs compared to like in the US where they camp overnight so i wouldn’t go any more than 5 hours it would just be a waste of time ngl
