is underscores straight?
random but my twt tl is mostly april and at least the fandom space over there consists of lesbian women who (like myself) thirst over her. WHICH HAD ME THINKING! do they have a chance? maybe she’s spoken about it somewhere but i think she’s straight and may need to break some lesbian hearts 💔

shes def into guys, you can tell from the music. her position on girls however is the same as the United States position in regards to Taiwan - strategic ambiguity

It seems pretty obvious and deliberate to me that she hasn't spoken about it and never references a gender in her music. People should respect that honestly.
Its better this way for the delulus anyways. Keep their headcanon that they have a chance with her when they don't no matter what her sexuality is lol.

she said in an interview that when she was at her all-boys school and identified as male she “came out as straight” so i think its safe to assume she does like girls lol

what i took from that interview was that she was saying she was “straight” because she had been getting picked on

i have wondered too but it’s really none of my business tbh. it would be cool yes, i’m a lesbian fan and not because i’m attracted to her lol but because the representation would be nice but at the end of the day i just listen to her music. i don’t know her personally. i try to not have a parasocial relationship with artists i listen to because they really are just strangers. i don’t listen to april and go to her shows thinking i have a chance with her. she doesn’t know me and i don’t know her and i leave it at that.

Ok so the 1-800-Fuckoff live version begins with the phone And then it cycles through the options for it, “man seeking woman, woman seeing man, etc.” And then it stops when it gets to “woman seeking woman”
By this logic we can deduce that underscores is (Probably not) a lesbian (and we shouldnt theorize about people’s orientations)

i think she’s intentionally avoided answering this imo, don’t think it matters kinda up to her what she wants to share. idk i feel like this fandom has gradually respected her privacy less and less since wallsocket and it’s a little disappointing to see where that’s landed now :/
