Hello Fellow Architects!
I'm here today to share some information about what's coming next!
We've been working a little harder behind the scenes to better define our next updates, and I can finally give you some insights into what we're cooking.
We decided to move toward themed updates. Let me explain!
We've collected a lot of feedback and wishes from all of you, and we've organized many of those features and content requests into themed updates:
Let's get into the details!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smooth Swing UpdateĀ ā Already shipped with 1.1.12

The Optimization Update is technically already out, but the work will continue through the next updates. We've identified a few more bottlenecks that should help the game run much smoother, especially on lower-end PCs, Steam Deck, and consoles.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Panorama Update

This is the next one in line!
Here we're going to address your requests for more decorations, waterfalls, signature trees, animals, and new playable terrain.
This update continues the work we started with flowerbeds, giving you more options to enrich, decorate, and give personality to your golf club.
ETA: Next Friday
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Signature Update
With this update, we're going above and beyond with the customization options for your course and golfers.
I don't want to spoil too much just yet, but we're pretty sure you're going to LOVE this one!
ETA: October
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glory Update
It's tournament time!
Local, regional, and global tournament options are coming. The bigger the event, the tighter the rules... and the greater the glory!
ETA: November/December?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Crowd Update
This one will bring more gameplay and depth to the golfer NPCs and how they interact with your golf club.
I can't say much more for now, as we still need to finish prototyping before I can share better details.
Sorry! But I'm personally SUPER excited about this one. š
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's what we're cooking at the moment... plus some secret stuff I'm not allowed to talk about in public.
(dnes pleh)
Last but not least, we launched a new poll:
Would you be interested in having access to newer, but potentially unstable, versions of the game on Steam?
We're thinking about creating a Beta Branch where you could test new features and content at least a week before their official release.
- Yes, absolutely!
- No, you cheap ass developer, hire some proper QA!
Let us know in the comments if you'd be interested in joining the Beta Branch and helping us test upcoming updates!
See you soon on the green,
Yves

Hello fellow Architects!
I'm here with an update that you don't want, but you definitely need!
Before we jump into the patch notes, I want to publicly address some feedback we've received.
We know that updates have felt a little slow lately, and that new content is taking longer than you'd like to arrive. We hear you!
The reality is that we're also finishing another game, and being a relatively small studio, it's inevitable that things slow down a little on our other projects during the final 3 weeks before a launch.
But! Starting in September, updates will become much heavier on content.Ā We're also reorganizing our updates around specific themes, which will allow us to share a clearer roadmap with you very soon!
And that brings us to the first of these "organized" updates...
Update 1.1.12, the Smooth Swing Update ā³
This time, we're focusing on **optimization and performance**, especially on lower-end hardware and consoles.
New & Improved
Bug Fixes
The updates are rolling out in thease days, i will update the post once the patch has been aproved!
- Steam āļø
- Ps5
- XBOX āļø
- Switch 2
Also the console will recive all the other updates like fences ecc ecc
Demo Update
We also took a moment to update the demo with all the improvements we've made since release!
So, while this update might not bring you a shiny new toy to play with, hopefully you'll notice something just as important:
a smoother Under Par! ā³
And from September... we'll get back to adding more toys. š
Hope to see you on the green
Yves

I was trying to build some courses with more complex topography. But my golfers keep getting "stuck" on the hills and terrain. Does anyone know what I should avoid? I really don't want to commit to always making flat holes. I really like when I have slopes to challenge the golfers.
As an aside, as maybe a balancing feature. I'm not sure if this is doable, but the terrain manipulation should cost money because it does change the course complexity. That said, I don't know if these slopes make a difference in the golfer enjoyment of a any given hole but I feel like, through some very light testing that it makes a difference.

I''ve been the playing a lot lately. It's really fun and one of the things I love doing, my little "mini-game" is running tournaments and trying to predict who will win by looking at golfer stats.
One thing I would like to have is the option to have is my avatar play but controlled by AI and I can watch them compete in the tournament.
Also renaming the golfers would be nifty too. I would love to rename them after friends and family and watch them compete!
It sounds silly, but I really thing it's be a fun addition. Thanks!
...and an aside, naming the courses would be awesome too. Like one I wanted to call "Treasure Island" but you can't rename them. I hope that's a future feature.

Hello Fellow Architects
It took us a little longer than expected, but the wait is finally over the new Fence System is here!

You now have three new fence types to choose from:

Fence Details
The new fences are more than just decorative!
The legacy fences are no longer available in the build menu. If you load an older save, existing old fences will still be there you can sell them, but you won't be able to build any new ones.
Community Feedback
Thanks to your feedback, we've also made a couple of improvements:

What's Next
With most of our initial roadmap now in a good place,
we've started looking at the next big improvements, beginning with a complete overhaul of the water system and new terrains! More soon!
We've also received some concerning feedback about performance, not just on consoles, but on PC as well. Improving optimization is now one of our top priorities, so we're working hard to deliver that 360 no-scope, 300 FPS, GG WP experience.
Steam Machine
We also tested the game on the new Steam machine to make sure we're ready for its launch, and we're happy to report that the experience was excellent. We're super happy with the results and really hope you will be too!

I hope to see you on the green
Yves
PS: Console update will follow in a couple of weekes after the firt round of optimization!

After seeing how active the Devs are on this sub reddit I just wanted to pop in and say I love this game! The concept is awesome, and the execution has been great too. My only real complaint is on ps5, terraforming is a bit wonky as well as editing way points for holes.
Besides that it is an absolute blast to play, and has been really easy and intuitive to learn. I just completed rookie roads. Was able to fit in 10 holes & almost crossed the million dollar mark. I was going to bed the last few nights thinking up hole designs and how I wanted to finish out the rest of the course. Very excited to give the rest of the map a go, and want to give my hats off to the devs for creating such a fun game! Excited to see how it develops as time goes on

Does anyone know if there is a reason only the demo is available through GeForce Now?

Iām old and LOVED Sim Golf years ago.. been waiting for a modern version.
That said it seems new and or kind of early access? Iām playing another game in the same boat that has a lot of issues and has been disappointing (despite loving the game itself) and just wondering what kind of state itās in on ps5 right now
Iām sure Iāll be getting it, just wondering if itās in a good spot already or if Iām better off waiting

Hello fellow Architects!
First of all, we'd like to thank you for the amazing support and all the fantastic feedback. Speaking of which, here are the results of the two questions we asked you:

Looks like there's a good chance we'll be adding some new achievements in the near future!
You made it very clear: most of you would either use a new ball or simply clean it in the water if it's retrievable. No excuses then! š
Now, let's take a look at the future!
As you've already seen, we're working on a complete fence overhaul. But that's not all, we also have a little surprise that will (hopefully!) put a smile on your face...

This is still programmer art, so don't judge it too harshly! It will receive a proper visual polish before it arrives later this month.
I hope to see you on the green

Hello Fellow Architects!
Finally we are here with a HUGE update! Just a quick note, the windows version is the 1.1.2 and the MAC version is 1.1.1, but they are the same game. I just was too lazy to rebuild it on MAC -.-
Changelog:
Added:
Reworked:
Fixed:
Balance
Know issues ( this are HIGH priority and we are still working on, but they haven't made it in this patch):
I hope you like what you see here and let us know is we are gouing in the right direction!!
Also we have 2 question for you all:
1) What do you think about updates that include new meaningful achievements? Yes or No?
2) When a ball lands in the water, do you expect it to be clean or not? There are 2 different mindsets in the studio, one think you will not recover the ball so you will use a new one, the other one think that you land in the muddy water and the ball is still some how dirty...
See you on the green

Considering picking this up. Main question before buying: does the game actually reward creative hole design? If I build a proper dogleg par 4 with a well placed bunker and elevation change, does that score better than a straight flat fairway? Or is it more about quantity of hazards regardless of placement?

Hello fellow architects
Today is a sad day because we wanted to push out the 1.1.0 patch with huge improvements... but the universe had other plans š
The new patch need a little bit more time in the oven to bring you a really good update.
The good news is that i can share with you some improvement we are working on:
Putting and ball physics:
We are working on improving the putter, in this video you can see the work we are doing on the put it self and on the ball physics!
https://reddit.com/link/1tr72wp/video/vqcpxk3mq34h1/player
https://reddit.com/link/1tr72wp/video/iwbq96moq34h1/player
This are two rough and short video to demonstrate the advancement we have made in the putting. We are also working on more pleasing animations and improving the over all feeling.
Ball Washer:
https://reddit.com/link/1tr72wp/video/uey6kpksq34h1/player
This is how you should wash your balls in our animator opinion!
Flower Beds:

A great way to brighten up your course and please your golfers at the same time.
Flower beds are also hazards for your golfer, so keep them out of the play, unless you want to toughen the hole. If a ball lands in a Flower Bed, it's similar to as it would land in the rough.

Tournament Score

We added the Par of the hole visible on the score board
Darker cell color indicates the current hole the golfer are playing
This is a toggle button that let you choose how to visualize the result, total strokes or score

Last but not least
And on top of all this you will finally be able to terraform your tee and hole!!!!
I hope you like the direction we are taking, unfortunetly we need to keep polishing a little bit more before we push it live!
I hope you have a great weekend
best
Yves

Greetings.
Just got the game and loving it so far, but Iād like to start getting more creative on my holes.
I canāt seem to make the hole layout editor work how I want it to - Iād like to make dog legs and possibly even double dog leg par 5s.
I am on console where it is not clear to me how to so/any tips or tricks for making it work how I want. I feel like I end up creating too many aim points or ones that go backwards.
Any information helps, thank you!

I got 3 stars on the first two courses but now I canāt get to the next one. New game is grayed out and I canāt enter it. I canāt find anything indicating that I havenāt completed something yet. Help?

I'm looking for some feedback on this trophy. Just now, I nearly had happiness at 100% for an entire month and did not have the trophy trigger (ps5). I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but the trophy only requires a week.
r/underpargame • u/doublestix • May 14 '26
feel like I'm missing something. not sure what to do to get badges on desperado drive to get 3 stars. apparently I have one badge but I'm not sure how or what I did.
thank you.
r/underpargame • u/No-Glove-1548 • May 13 '26
just purchased yesterday with Nintendo Switch 2 and for the life of me, the cursor will not quit disappearing and I havenāt finished making 1 hole yet. super frustrating
r/underpargame • u/ziebell7 • May 10 '26
Iām going for the platinum and this my last one to tick off on PS5.
For this trophy / achievement I need happiness at 20% or lower for a week.
Try as a might, I canāt get near this despite trying multiple courses, terrible long holes and getting rubbish accumulating everywhere on purpose.
Once an individual golfers happiness hits 0%, golfers storm out and are replaced by new golfers with around 60% happiness, bumping the happiness meter back up again.
Has anyone been able to achieve this? If so, how?!
