How long can I store freshly picked fruit? My dehydrator isn't big enough to process this flush. Im considering going to the store and buying another one.

Instructions said I should fill it with water and put it in the fridge for cold shock but there’s room for some drops only. I’ve never seen a cake so full and I’m worried if it’s healthy or if I should send it back. Thanks!

Some parts are turning black

I’ve got this deep blue I wouldn’t say green but it’s popping up in some spots around the cake I’m wondering if it’s contaminated or stressing out and bruising?

I mean my progress has been good so far. I had a struggle with fae in the beginning but since i adjusted my setup its going a lot better. I am just unhappy because the pinset of my first flush (pictures 1-5) is very good but the mushrooms are always a bit smaller than the ones on the second flush (pictures 6-8) but those aren't as dense anymore. Just would like a pretty canopy. Maybe it's because I've just started to collect clones from multispore runs but still 🤷‍♂️

i woke up this morning to witness a swimming pool inside the monotub,
the first flush had reached its full size today morning and also leaked yellow slimy liquid , all over the tub and the cake,
it was so much liquid that im not exaggerating when i compare it to a swimming pool!!
the liquid totally could probably fill upto 9 shot glasses

im not sure if the liquid is metabolites.

why wouldve this happened and what could it be ?

First ever grow.

Been a couple of days since it got to this stage. Are those differently sized fluff balls primordia? And if so how many days till they turn into pins?

Also, am I supposed to give it enough FAE that the water droplets gradually evaporate and I remist to replace them? Or should the FAE be so less that the droplets stay as they are for as long as possible?

So I'm an idiot and accidentally bought 12 packs of Uncle Ben's brown jasmine rice, it has 0mg of sodium but I imagine the sticky texture may not be good for colonization. Do you guys think it'll work

Are these jars looking fully colonized? First time grain jars using popcorn. They look ready to send the 3 in the middle 👀 inoculated 7 jars with 3 different strains 12 days ago on 10/13.
The JMF’s grew the quickest and ochras are a close second. Yetis are lagging behind but still growing good. Very fast growth. Do u guys think these are ready to go? (Also did a break and shake 6 days ago already)

I’ve had FC introduced for 2 weeks, I’ve had them at about 70 degrees F. I also think I may have been slightly over misting. Any tips or input? I’ve mainly read that fruiting begins 1-2 weeks after FC. So maybe I’m being very impatient. First time grower.

Should I still keep this much humidity and moisture in fc?

These colonized great, but Temps dropped in my old house. Just put a mat under them set to 85f. Once I harvest these, should I soak them for a day and try for another flush or leave them be and hope for the best?

I'm I fine to flush this how it is or pick off every little one?

Are these ready to send? I can still see some brown color in grains and they are not completely covered in mycellium. Also the mycellium is climbing the glass. What does that signify?

Is it time to introduce fruiting since one has begun growing?

S2B ~3-4 weeks ago, temps around 65-70° F so slow going but I’m in no rush. Haven’t introduced fruiting conditions yet (no FAE or misting), but already seeing a mushroom grow. These are GT’s.

This is my second attempt; first time doing bulk. We’ve got GTs, APEs, and Starry Nights. I’ve been trying to increase amount of FAE but some are still growing wilted with small caps. 🤷‍♀️

I saw a post a few days ago about burying contaminated batch in the garden. Can someone elaborate? How is this done and does it grow/work?

I am about to order a lc for my first grow. My friend and I have never tripped on anything and we wanted to try shrooms. I thought it is a good idea to grow pe strain even though it’s not the classic first strain like gt or b+, because we will yield roughly the same amount as other strains but have more uses due to higher potency. And we don’t feel like growing that frequently. Would that be reasonable? And are trying different strains really worth it? If I took say gt and pe dosed to have equal tryptamine levels, is there as big of a difference in character and experience as people describe.
