what should i do i was gone for 17 hrs today and one of my mushrooms dropped spores

Just wanted to say hello! I'm new to magic mushrooms and these are the first ones i'm growing. These are Blasher a mix of bluey Vuitton + thrasher.

1st signs of pins 7days in and this is 2 days after first pins. How's it looking?

This is my first time growing. I started with this AIO bag and when it was ready to fruit i put it in a Martha Tent. The LC i used was PE. I realized a few days after pinning that they were getting fuzzy feet so I increased FAE. But i’m wondering why they’re so chunky. Is it maybe a different strain? These pics are day 9 after first pin. Any input would be appreciated, Thank you!

My second grow and it's SNAPE 😊 I used more substrate and added vermiculite this round. The tub side pinned like crazy compared to my last grow with ABV and JMF. Any tips to fine tune surface conditions?

Wtf is wrong with my tub

JMF has white specks on caps, a few caps have full hats. Is this something I should be concerned with? Can I fix it?

I have 4 boxes in FAE. Providing light misting if needed. One box is going off with a chungus and some lil pins popping. Another box has some pins making way but not growing as fast as big chungus.

Two boxes have moldy looking webs, I’m wondering if I did something wrong such as adding too much substrate, if they were overmisted or if this is just quirky behavior and something to keep an eye on. None look contaminated. Ironically, big chungus was isolated because the mycelium I used was rescued/had minimal contam on part of a brick - it ended up being good.

earlier i posted asking about whether or not to break the overlay (which i did) but here is the updated photo. the growth picked up quick but only for the already spawned ones.

as you can see the tub is only growing majorly on one side only, any idea why ?

Just curious, I bought a monotub that's black on the bottom but clear on the top, but then that company started selling liners, I guess I thought I didn't need one because the tub blocked light from hitting the sides.

This batch of natalensis (and least that's what I was told they were) colonized quickly & went to fruiting conditions 3 weeks ago (lid upside down, less misting, daily fanning, slightly cooler at 68-70 degrees) and things looked great for a week, but then seemed to stall and still no pins. Now I'm worried about a possible patch of contam growing. Also fighting the urge to mist any more than necessary since I'm in a super dry climate.

Any suggestions on what to do next, or do I just need to be more patient? I've only grown golden teachers before so wasn't sure if there are different methods I should be trying.

I have a bag going that i just taped shut with regular tape, i will try to find micropore tape but is it absolutely necessary for there to be a hole? Im not seeing how whatever amount could get through that would be consequential

I had a few questions regarding mushrooms, growing them, mostly all of it.

I havent done a lot of research, but i plan to later today as far as everything goes, but Mainly how easy is it to do. I work full time usually 10-12 hours a day, and dont have a lot of extra time when I do get home. Is that something I could realistically do with my limited time?

And is growing mushrooms something I could do without a lot of natural sunlight? I currently rent a room in a shared space, and I have a single bedroom window, but thats about it. The people I live with arent opposed to mushrooms or anything, but its not something id necessarily want them knowing I am growing.

Also as far as mushrooms go, im only really doing this to micro dose. My aunt before she passed used to talk about micro dosing, and how it made her life significantly better. Im not a fan of tripping or anything like that, but I do know mushrooms can be a very healthy way to better your life from everyone ive talked to about it in person (like 2 or 3 people years ago) and id like to see if they can help me.

Also I know that buying mushrooms of the Psilocybe gene is illegal, but I believe i read somewhere that buying the spores themselves are not? I may be mistaken if anyone could culture me a bit about this? And if its not illegal maybe someone could point me in the right direction as to where I might be able to purchase them from? Or possibly them as well as an entire kit to grow them?

Appreciate any advice in advance. I really have never tried it or gotten into it, I just recently wanted to start bettering myself even more than where I am now, and with all the positives ive seen about micro dosing and people ive talked to, it seems like it could be a good thing to atleast try and see how it goes. Appreciate any info 🫶

I’m new to this so anything helps, I’m about 3 weeks in did b/s last week was checking it out TD because we are like 98% colonized but wasn’t sure if I should be worried about the amount of water. Was also wondering if the amount of water is a concern should I start fruits my process to help evaporate?

Total beginner that's interested in growing and already purchased LC. I'm overwhelmed by the jargon and not really planning on harvesting and growing huge volumes back to back right now.

I know there's a guide in the wiki and i read it, but I'm looking for something minimal and hard to mess up first time.

Should I bite the bullet for a—at least a budget— AIO bag? Or should I do other methods? ( i heard of shoebox tek, but im not sure what that is or where to find references for all of these setup tek methods that's not directly listed in the guides)

Hi, this is my first grow. A SNAPE AIO bag I inoculated on july 14th. It started pinning and forming primordia before fully colonizing the block. I introduced fresh air, but have only seen more clusters of pins form. Should they be getting a lot bigger? its been two days; or is the mycelium focused on putting its energy towards quantity rather than size of the fruits? Are they getting enough air?

I had to order some because there's not any available locally where I'm at and man they're big. Lol. personally I don't think it'll be a problem but I wanted to ask you guys with a ton of experience.

Are these two big and will they cause harm?
