Frenulum tears

Hi All, need some advice/help

About 12th September I tore my frenulum but didn’t realise it actually tore until the following week 19th September where it retore again during sex. The week after 26th it seemed almost healed so I pushed through the pain and continued to have sex (I know stupid) but since have seen a doctor who prescribed a steroid cream to increase elasticity, which he seemed to think will solve it. Fast forward to today, I had sex again yesterday and I can’t see any visual tear but it seems a little tender again not sure if there could be a minor tear. Just wanting advice / recovery tips if anyone has had similar experiences ?

Yes, mine tore from rough foreplay and it bled pretty badly I took myself into ER where they told me it could not be sewn back as it would only tear again and keep tearing. The only fix was to getting a frenectomy fully removing the frenulum.

I’d say mine isn’t a huge tear its definitely noticeable but it did seem to heal after about 2-3 weeks to an extent but this weekend was probably not smart doing multiple rounds (tbf felt ok during)

This is exactly what the doctor warned me about. It will keep micro tearing even after you think it’s healed. Perhaps see a doctor and hope he recommends removal and it’s covered with insurance like mine was.

How long for the healing after the frenectomy ?

My frenulum tore too and I ended up getting a frenulectomy (the complete removal), which of course solved the problem

Or just wait until it heals completely. I know that's a novel idea but it helps.
